A death knight tells me that anything over 30% critical suffers a sort of diminishing returns in that one crits more often, but for less. Intrigued, because I'd never heard of this before, I Googled it some, searched on forums, but could find nothing saying this (and maybe I didn't search hard enough, that's possible). I am hesitant to buy into the thought, because feral druids hit 60% critical no sweat and rogues make 45% easily, and honestly speaking, it didn't take any effort for me to get up to my current unbuffed 36% crit.
So can anyone confirm or disprove a crit damage diminishing returns effect?
