Not the same m8, you mixing up 2 things. the "actual damage" increase will be the same.
Ill use explosive shot as an example:
Explosive shot dmg = [RAP * 0.14 + 386]-[RAP * 0.14 + 464].
so an increase of 100 AP will result is: [(RAP+100) * 0.14 + 386]-[(RAP+100) * 0.14 + 464].
its an increase of 14 dmg, regardless to what RAP was equal to.
