Your post is more or less a "help me play/hold my hand" post, but the much more egregious infraction is your terrible grammar and lack of capitalization. Sorry to inform you, but our forums require much better presentation than the slop that is your post. Please clean it up for future posts.

Original Post:

hello, i have used the marks tree since game release date of nov' 04, as my primary raid spec.
with the release of TBC, many changes were made to the hunter class and as such, i, like many others
chose the bm tree for raiding as it was a top end dps raid spec at the time.
i am duel speced now, mm/sv, both are raid specs for me to experiment with.
i must first make it clear that the original release of the game mechanics wise was much simpler, obviously.
as a class, hunters did not really have to do much min-maxing at all to compensate for build. i have looked at all
the changes, done the math by hand, i dont use spreadsheets, i manual weave, and there are some things i would like to address and possibly get some feedback on.
1. i cant seem to push beyond 3200 dps on a training dummy on either spec. similarly geared hunters consistently
out dps me, and in some cases, lesser geared hunters out dps me. this is especially true in places like ulduar and ToC
10/25.
2. i am playing from the east coast of the united states on a west coast server, averaging between 200-340ms
latency.
my question is, how big of a problem is latency in relation to overall dps? i dont seem to lag at all, just a very slight
bit of ability latency > ie: i hit button, shot is fired a split second later, etc. rotation still works fine.
from what ive read, appropriately gemed with agil mm speced, sv still only has a 100 - 300 dps overall advantage to mm, unless youve reached your passive Arp rating and want to stack THAT instead. i prefer the agility, but thats me.
my shot rotation is as follows - SeS> Chim> ArS> multiS or AiS, (depending on movement), Ss. repeat
of coarse kill command when it is available and kill shot in the last 20% of a mobs/boss's health, is a given.
the reason i use Chim as my second shot is for burst dmg, it is mm's hardest hitting shot, so putting it on the gcd
right off is a benefit ive found, not to mention that the full dmg of SeS is applied immediately.
i am hit capped (probably too much hit), and am fully socketed with agil, have a firm and reliable rotation, so where is the dps going? i am eyeing that latency, my gear is sufficient to pull at least 4.5-5k dps. now, as i said, there is a marginal difference (from what ive read) between mm dps and sv dps, not enough to switch specs if your more comfortable with one than the other. or....am i just missing something here?
current appropriations for maximum dps for a hunter are hit - agil - ArP? - Haste? the later can of coarse be tailored
i suspect to your own build etc, but in a straight forward manor, an mm hunter with full hit, and agil maxed as best he can be, shouldnt suffer from Arp and Haste negligence should he? since i am not really seeing a difference between
mm/sv during my own tests?
any input would be greatly appreciated.
