I have AP, IV and Talisman of Resurgence available to me and they all have different cooldowns. Is it advisable to stack them all together or use them each when they become available? I pondered this question for a long time. I found that waiting until IV is off of CD to use your go crazy macro is usually best. I'll lay out what I do for each fight. (this is for heroic)
Beasts: Burn them all with MI at the start of the fight. Then burn them all again when we BL at the first Icehowl Stun.
Jaraxxus: Burn them on the first portal. Use the macro again even though IV is on CD for the second portal. Then use the full macro again for the third portal.
Faction champs: I use them whenever IV is off of CD.
Twins: I save my macro for an opposite shield b/c we don't use the door strat.
Anub: *FFB
Anyways, some people say that using each cd as soon as it's available is a dps increase over waiting for IV, but I still prefer to use the macro to it's full extent situationally. That is, unless the boss is at 10% or whatever and only AP is up then I use it anyways.
