First of all hello!
I am a disc priest for the past 1 and a half year or so and I must say I'm pretty happy with the spec. Lately I've started raiding and passing through stuff I've missed in an impressive pace I've finally found out that disc healing is an impressive talent spec for most 25 man fights (even though I'm usually bottom at the recount reports and I don't really care since I think recount does not count the PW:S mitigation). In any case since I finally saw some progress I would obviously see some new gear. And right now I'm at "tight" situation having a heated discussion over a chest piece I'd like to craft.
At the current level I am now which from what I've gathered marginally average for ToC 10 man and the amount of money/time I want to spend I came down with these two choices.
[Merlin's Robe] and [Royal Moonshroud Robe]
From my sincerely incomplete knowledge I gathered that spirit is not really helping me therefore I tried to keep my spirit to a minimal. Therefore that's why I think the first chestpiece is better for a disc priest.
Obviously you can see my gear from the Armory but you need to bear in mind that I got the Onyxia 25 man head ([Aurora of Transcendence]) and I was planning to remove my T8,5 head and chest to replace them with the new head and chest.
I would really really appreciate any feedback on my potential choices and if it will ultimately help my disc priest more able to survive and earn his keep in much more demanding challenges.
PS: If you can leave the numbers out I would appreciate even more since I s**k at math :P
