I recently got [Heartshiver] on a rogue alt of mine and since we had a [Librarian's Paper Cutter] laying around in Guild Bank, I tought might try out Mutilate on her.
Since its an alt I will be mainly running 5 man heroics and the odd 10 / 25 man raid every now and then, I know that sticking with her current Combat build would probably serve me better over all (alot of trash to clear on 5 men), but thats something I've been as a rogue since ages ago and I would really like to test out something different.
So lets cut to the actual question... The 51/18/2 spec suggested in the Pocket Guide is clearly ment for a raiding rogue who can rely on outside sources for bleeds and mainly focuses on keeping SnD and Hunger for Blood up, using the rest of combo points on Envenom. But will that spec serve me best in my current situation or should I move some points to eg Blood Splatter since I will be using Rupture and Garrote myself? ToT glyph is useless for me atleast since its higly unlikelly that there will be a situation where I get ToT'ed back. I'm sure my rotation would probably be something in the lines of 4+n/4+r/(4+n) (while making sure SnD is up).
The toon can be seen in this armory link. I realize that the gear is pretty poor, but that does not mean that I need to use a poorly fitting spec on top of that.
