And on the other note am i the only one who is quite uncomfortable with shamans at the moment and the dps we do ? I mean i enjoy playing it but the numbers it do due to subpar geared DKs, Hunters, Rets and so on are making me mad !

Since patch i found my dps highly increased. Even tho my gear is haste optimized, i manage to be on the top 5 if not top 3. Thing that nearly impossible before ! Dk's, Hunters, even rogues aren't that competitive at certain bosses. Maybe you do something wrong or you are kinda undergeared. Because we like it or not in order to be a decent dps as shaman you need gear, really good gear and skills.

Now concerning the 2 BiS gear setups that you guys talk about, i believe that it's not rly neccessary. I will certainly stick for AP on my new items, but i will also add some haste at times. I don't feel the new to optimize my gear in 2 different item lists, not only it's going to be expensive but also higly unneeded. Sticking for mostly ap, and a fixed amount of haste could do the job. With tier 9 and 258 ilvl, those who chose haste had nearly 2.2 Haste. With the tier 10 and the new items we will manage to hit that amount with far more AP, which makes it really good for our dps. I can reassure that a decent rotation will bring you to the top 5 with no effort, especially on aoe fights.
