Please capitalize and punctuate properly. Each word that begins a sentence should have a capital letter, and so should "I" when referring to yourself. Also, please don't quote-split a ton. It makes your post longer than it needs to be and generally annoying to read. Quote your source in its entirety, follow with your response/question(s). Thanks.

Original Post:

a couple question i have about the haste portions of this guide.
Rules of Thumb for Holy
Stack haste up to 12-14%. Think hard about whether you need more than that, given raid buffs and talents.

i was currently sitting at ~16% haste before ICC came out. afterwards i re-gem'd with
|
However, once you reach the 'cap' of feeling comfortable about your regen I would start looking at haste as a means to increase your throughput. Yellow would be pure haste, red would be haste/spellpower and blue would be haste/spirit;
|
this took my haste to ~22%. my question is though, the original rule of thumb says only stack to 12-14%. with 16% my flash heal was 1.2 seconds and with 22% my flash heal was still 1.2 seconds. my PoH and Gheal seem to be the same cast times with and without serendipity as well. i don't understand why i should be gemming for haste in all of my gems if nothing is changing with a 6% haste increase. am i missing something?
|
Rough goals for the start of Icecrown.25 are to have 3000+ spellpower, 30% crit, and 30% haste, along with ~ 500 Mp5 I5SR fully raid-buffed.
|
this also makes me curious. why should i be aiming for 30% haste when it appears more than 16% isn't changing anything?
