You need to simmer down. The fact that people disagree with your analysis doesn't mean they don't understand it. And it's pretty clear that you've made absolutely no effort to understand their critiques. At this point all you're doing is repeating yourself, and it's starting to get really, really, tiresome. You prefer 51/13/7; fine. But none of the analysis you've done actually shows it's superior, so stop trying to convince people that it is through repetition and veiled insults.

Every Saurfang and subsequent Putricide parse isn't enough of a convincing argument? The analysis most likely went over your head. I will quote myself from only 3 posts earlier in the hope that you understand where the .82% comes from:

Theorycrafting (currently) is modeled after encounters such as Saurfang where you are never interrupted. When you do more overall Mutilate damage on a fight like Putricide, then Opportunity actually holds a higher value than what is 'normally' calculated.

I honestly don't know how I can explain that any further. Both specs are already modeled in numerous places, so your napkin math doesn't make any sense in the discussion. The difference between the specs is considered ~.18% in favor of 51/18/2 on a direct-damage fight like Saurfang; however, .82% Mutilate damage via Opportunity for a fight like Putricide is not accounted for in those theorycrafted numbers. In other words, you'll do ~.82% more damage as 51/13/7 on Putricide, and ~.18% more damage on Saurfang as 51/18/2.

Your comment on oozes being about raidwide execution and not personal DPS doesn't make sense either. The entire fight is about raidwide execution...that's what raiding is by definition. The argument was that your damage in phase 3 is more important than in the others, and my point was that it isn't. The consequences of you and your raid doing less damage against slimes (heavy raid damage, dead players, etc.) is much more severe than you and your raid not doing as much DPS in phase 3 (where the requirements are pretty lax). An extra player alive in the final phase will do far more damage than one could ever optimize for in specs, not unlike the statement you made about another player failing in ooze positioning being more severe than a change in specs. However, this board is about personal min/max not raid execution, and good Rogues here will be looking to squeeze out as much damage possible.

So in that respect, why would I care about getting "a positive response"? The concepts I have laid out are not difficult at all, and the evidence is in every parse I've seen, so just check your own to see if the results line up. If you are "handwaving" it, then you simply don't understand what is going on. Whether or not players spec one way or the other is mostly inconsequential to me; I am interested however in how interruptions affect Mutilate modeling, as it could alter how I gem and gear.
