oh, finally.

i have been reading those forums for a long time, but never had the courage to join the discussions since i felt like i was a casual intruding on a hardcore topic.

is good to see how now some ppl has started to rely on live data instead of focusing on simulators and such (wich are good, but not perfect)and thx to some "better than average" players like starfreak now we have some REAL data that proofs the 15/54/2 build to be 100% valid, and, why not, maybe better on some scenarios than the common builds.

we have been very few DKs who has always specced 15/54/2 since the release of the 3.2. and now, that feels like a victory, because we never have been 100% wrong :P

this is my armory, almost 3k wowheroes score.

bad that our guild has never used WoL until this week, so i have no parses or logs but recount snapshots.

yesterday, i pulled 8650 DPS on saurfang 25m, 100dps + - the other 2 DKs (both unholy, and slightly better geared)
notice that ive recently drpped mjolnir runestone for WFS, and went back to use GoD instead of Icy touch, so now i can fit perfectly my favourite rotation. both those facts pulled my dps from almost 8000 to 8650 on saurfang, so i spect this week to reach the 9k barrier on festergut (where i was already pulling 8300dps)

tbh, i cant know if those results are good or bad, since i cant find any comparison with other frost DKs but the ones from the top guilds, who are million light years away from me on gear and skill. Compared to the DKs from my guild (as said, both unholy, better geared), im always within 0-3% for common fights, the difference grows at the same time that the movement and the downtimes grows on bosses (putricide literally kills me, since im not able to get 10stacks of RI due to the constant movement)

personally, i dont usually have any problems with a 15sec rotation. the starting secs, as some1 said above are probably the most important ones on each fight. i always start the same way: IT, PS, BS (BT+UA macroed) OB, ERW, OB, OB,OB, and then the dance starts (RP dump, KM,rime).i´m using GoD instead of icy touch or HB, now that im not the responsible for the IIT. I hardly wait until the last second of the diseases to use pestilence. in fact, each time every rune but 1 blood is on CD, i use pestilence. I have very very few empty GCDs, since i dont usually hold rime: raid buffed
im on ~45% spell crit. So i found that blowing the rime proccs asap as a personal DPS increase. i never wait for KM to proc along rime. if they both procc, good, if only rime does, is not bad. so basically the difference with the common "rotations" is that i use blood strike very few times, just to procc the t9x2 bonus, or when NOTHING else (KM+rime,KM+FS,OB,FS,rime,pestilence) can be used.

with this, im not trying to show myself or say "i hold the truth u all suck", but now that some ppl has open they´re eyes and are giving a chance to this spec, i try to put my 50 cents and contribute to the topic.

and finally, sorry for my bad english, i try to explain myself the better i can, but im spanish and english is not even my 2º language :P
