Why does it take this much space to ask "how do I add stuff to the spreadsheet"? And, for that matter, why didn't you just search and read the explanation from the other half dozen time it's been asked?

Hello.

So I decided to give it a go with the spreadsheet things. (Yes Im new to this so please dont flame me.)

I tried using rawr, but I wasnt really comfortable with it.

Downloaded the latest mutilate spreadsheet wich was posted right above few posts ago, and I started putting my gear into the different slots, but to my disappointment, my only choice for an offhand as mutilate isnt included in the sheet.

Is there any way to add or modify items in the sheet so Im able to actually use the spreadsheet to a 100%?

I read the faq where it says if an item is missing it is because it "sucks".
That shouldnt exclude a person from using the sheet, optimising his current gear, just because he has 1 item that sucks? Atleast it doesnt make sense to me

All the current gear I have aquired is from pick up groups, cause I dont have time to raid on a regular basis. Therefore this was the best dagger I could aquire from doing arena and 2s.

I doubt any of the 232 weapons from 5man hcs are any better. But hey, I might be wrong. Thats the reason for me visiting a place like this in the first place.

I dont know my "theorycrafting" but I would very much like to maximise my gemmings, enchants, gear and overall dps.

But by excluding certain items from the sheet, I aint able to actually figure theese things out on my own.

I like the idea behind theorycrafting, and Im very happy that you lads bother to take time with it. I play the game to have fun, but I still want to perform my best when I do. And by that I want it simple. I want to know what setup of gears and gemming wich are the best, without spending to much time on it. That doesnt mean Im lazy. Im still prepared to do my share of reading and spending time on a spreadsheet figuring out what I should do. (I even installed office just to be able to view the spreadsheets in excel :P)

But things kind of stopped up for me, when my item wasnt found.

PS: I didnt pass math in school, so go easy on me if Im not seeing anything obvious here.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help with my issue
