Nothing. Its the value given based on the gear you are currently wearing.
You can think of it as how much it would give you assuming you needed the hit [which wouldn't technically be 100% accurate], but hopefully you see the picture. (Hit will always give you the highest dps gain)

Its a Overview/Summary, don't confuse it with some form of stat planner.
