Do not suggest what you think Blizzard should do. Neither we nor Blizzard care about your great idea.

Original Post:

I may be completely slagged for posting this but im going to go ahead and blame it on the sleep deprivation.
I was looking at the general look for warriors in cataclysm and the one think that interested me was this whole Inner Rage idea. The concept of this i think is exactly what warriors should be, Hit things, get angry, hit them harder. Easy? Well it does have its complications. This will most likely be met by the constant QQ from those lesser players in the game who cant seem to understand a rotation harder than 1,2,1,2,1,2. For example if you gain this damage buff by accident, through a string of crits and then using all your abilities leaves you even more rage starved than before.
So i get thinking and this was the first thing i thought of as an attempt of a solution. Im not saying this is a good idea but i thought it sounded pretty cool. Just looking for thoughts or maybe ideas taking it further.
The Future of Warriors in wow, a thought
This is just something I thought about while pondering over the new warrior changes. I am in no way saying this is a good idea for the warrior class but I do feel as if it would suit the theoretical idea of a warriors rage bar.
Rather than having rage as a slowly diminishing source imagine it like a rogues energy bar in reverse. As you auto attack the boss this bar fills, but empties at a much faster pace than currently happens.
This would take into effect the idea that your character gets angry when the attack hits but this anger dissipates over time. Continued attacks will cause further rage gain at a slightly increased pace.
When the rage bar gets to its highest point the bar pauses for a short period of time allowing the use of devastating finisher moves symbolising the warrior’s unleashed total rage at this point the warriors rage bar will be quickly reset and begin charging from square one again.
However this leaves the problem of what to do with all these special attacks the warrior needs to do. Well look at it this way, if you were pummelling on someone’s face and were getting more and more angry from doing so, wouldn’t more attacks make you angrier? This leaves the idea that as the warrior gains the rage should they be restricted by a cool down influenced rotation where moves rely on procs, internal cool downs and the ability to use more powerful moves on slightly longer cool downs at a higher rage percentage. I for one think that sounds difficult and interesting and much better than just hitting one or two buttons over and over. Say for example one move is useable at 50% max rage, but in using this move the warrior has left a gaping hole in his opponent and doesn’t feel as angry, think anger management. This could mean that the rage bar diminishes quicker than before for a short period of time making it harder to reach those max rage finishers. The move itself could do something other than just damage, buff other moves, refresh others, or be a buff like Death Wish. These abilities could be at perhaps, 25, 50 and 75 rage each with increasing benifits but each with increasing penalties for use.
This play style would require a lot of concentration and thought along with complete understanding of the class and I think would make warriors what there meant to be along with making them one of the most fun classes to play in wow.
Edit: After looking at this I was desperatly thinking of some kind of other game that used something like this idea and couldnt think of anything so if anyone has anything this can relate to feel free to mention it.
