I dont know what spec everyone else is using. I would love to know what is recommended. Im using 14-0-57 with those points being in the usuall Spriest talents with additions to Inner Focus (used on emergency healing buttons) and points put into Silence and Pshcic Horror. My reasoning behind this is simple. I am a dps class. I should be able to manage the threat I generate(which I do very well with tanks pushing 12k+ TPS) therefor I do not use Shadow Affinity. Since I am not generating enough threat to pull off a tank I did not spec into Imp Shadowform. Honestly if I'm taking damage something is wrong. Those pvp talents also come in handy for fights were a mob can be disarmed since we raid without a warrior and without a rogue. To let you all know what improvments I have made myself, here are some basic stats I have
Sp self buffed 2949
Hit Capped
Crit% and rating 614 Rating 21.99%
Haste and rating 648 Rating 19.76%
I put 20 haste gems in all yellow sockets and 12 SP 10 Spr into blues and 23 SP into reds and use the 21 Crit 3% crit dmg meta
I also removed both Mind Blast and SW Death from my rotation and noticed a large jump in DPS for me(around 1k)
I currently have a 4 pc T10 and push 5k on the boss dummy ( when im the only person attacking it single target)
I also have a GS of 5486 if that matters at all.
The most dps I have pushed in a raid for Single target is 9800 on Festergut 10 man (with a FM buff an Unholy dk and Ele Sham Totem)
Any input or advice is welcomed
