Does your Warrior ever Intervene to you? I'm finding more and more uses for the skill. Intervene --> get Poly'd --> Rogue hits you (the druid) and breaks sheep and probably getting an autoswing on the Rogue who is in melee range because of the intervene. Hopefully the Warrior had Tactical Mastery and has 15 rage left from the Intervene so the autoswing brings him to 25+ rage, enough to reflect the next incoming Poly.
Of course, nothing pans out quite this smoothly in practice. Warriors are incredibly susceptible to Mage CC, and it's likely your Warrior will be left standing in a nova with his thumb up his ass trying to mash Intercept.

The problem with this is that it would require me be close enough/in LoS of the warrior. Which means I will then immediately be eating a stun locked shatter combo. If I trinket out to escape I am immediately blinded and my warrior is blown up. I really don't know if there is any reliable way to beat this team outside of lucky resists or them being mildly retarded.

Hi there all, I've been recommended to this forum by some friends of mine. They actually recommended I do not post at all, as they have done so and been mercilessly slain, their posts deleted. Therefore I come here with the utmost respect. I've had a 70 rogue, priest, and shaman and I'm now levelling this warrior (gnome).
For purely aesthetic reasons I intend on going Dual Wield when I hit 70 for pvp. It is to my understanding that 2h is pretty much the dominant force now as far as high end arenas go. So this leads my to my question:
Is it possible to attain a reasonably high rating (2k) as a dual wield warrior (with or without MS)?
I'm fairly sure that MS is necessary so I was looking at some specs that include it.
31/30/0 Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
I don't like not having tactical mastery or 5/5 of commanding presence, but it seems that piercing howl and blood craze are just too worth having as opposed to bonus attack power/health. I also like having flurry because I want to use axes (for axe spec, to proc more flurries)
If I'm not going to end up getting flurry, I'd probably go for a spec like this (and use maces instead of axes):
33/25/3 Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
But yeah, I'm not really too sure past that. Any input/advice/criticism is appreciated. (even zomg dual wield is 4 newbz)

Why would you want to dual wield rather than use a 2h with MS?

I really just like the fast attacks of DW, and as I mentioned, it's more of just an aesthetic desire to use DW. I simply assumed to be useful in arena (which is a secondary desire to using DW, if I have to suck, I will, but I do want to be the best I can be using DW) I would need MS.
If I don't, I wouldn't know, as I've never played a warrior past ~50 before.

It's not too late to roll a Rogue. The hardest part of transitioning into arenas is the first month, when you're undergeared, new to playing with your team, and have only a vague idea of what is working and what isn't. Don't make it harder by gimping yourself intentionally - I'd be very surprised if you can find a partner willing to put up with it.

There's a video on warcraftmovies of a warrior trying out MS with warglaives in 3v3 arena if you want to check it out. Honestly though even with legendaries his damage is noticeably lower than the usual 2h builds and he's just getting carried by a stronger team composition. He's not a bad player though.

I had a 70 rogue before, and don't worry about my partner, I've already got several willing to arena with me regardless of my spec. I understand I am gimping myself by restricting myself to DW, but I'm wondering if there is any advice for maximizing it's potential. If none exists, oh well, that sucks for me, but I honestly have more fun playing as a tiny gnome with two axes shredding people to pieces. Just not as appealing with a giant slow 2h.

I tried DW PVP pre-BC and you need a lot of +hit or you're going to miss a lot. Unless things have changed regarding DW +hit for PVP you're not going to get the +hit you need from PVP gear to be viable imo. You swing more often but when a good percentage of those swings miss it really doesn't matter.
You could use some PVE gear but you're going to lose resilience which will make you an easier kill, especially in 5s.

Cripes, not only are you trying to dual wield with a Warrior in PvP, you're trying to Dual Wield with Mortal Strike, which means weapon specialization. For such a thing, purely for aesthetic reasons, you've chosen axes the red-headed stepchild of all weapon PvP types.
You've already chosen your path to damnation. This forum has nothing to offer you.

Haha I'm sorry, really, but I know very very little about warriors (which is why I have come here to ask).
Let's just assume that I just want dual wield. What would be the best spec (and thereafter weapon choices) to do the best I possibly could, assuming I knew what I was doing as far as the actual PVP goes.

If you absolutely must dual wield....ugh. Well first you'll need maces. Mace stun is superior to Sword/Axe anyway in PvP (I have the two best Swords in the game and I still consider using Stormherald over them), as many people assert in this thread. DW dps, being less bursty, needs a way to stay in combat as long as possible. Thus, Mace Stun and 3/3 Improved Hamstring.
Of course you need Second Wind, Improved Intercept, and Mortal Strike. Piercing Howl and Blood Craze are also great talents. In the fury tree, 5/5 Enrage, Sweeping Strikes, and either 4/5 DW Spec and 1/2 Weapon Mastery or 5/5 DW Spec 2/2 Weapon Mastery. Because of wanting to pick up DW spec, you probably don't have room for Tactical Mastery.
Thus:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Your gear should focus on getting +hit to 5%, then stack Str > Crit > Hit.
All-in-all...a terrible idea.

You've come here to ask for advice on a miserably bad idea that no one can talk you out of, so you want us to give advice on your miserably bad idea. I think you're better off not wasting our time and instead you might consider asking on these boards.

This is where this idea should have gone to die. Instead it ended up here, and I cannot for the life of me think of what is "aesthetically" wrong with a two handed weapon. If you want 2k rating and refuse to do anything but DW you are trying to have your cake and eat it too.

There was a brief time on the 2.4 PTR when the shaman flametongue totem was giving a MS type weapon enchant, which would have made DW mace fury (say mace spec & deathwish + flurry/bloodthirst/precision) marginally less retarded to try out. Sadly the change to Flametongue was reverted.

I respecced 33/28 for small bracket play recently, and found myself playing instead on a 5s team that some of my buddies through together. The amount of extra dps I gain (even though I lose bloodfrenzy) from flurry at the expense of TM is really pretty awesome. I'm enjoying the hell out of w/h/p/d/r as tunnel vision spec, and with the lockdown ability of my partners the only time I even remotely miss instant spell reflect is vs. 4 dps, but intervene works just as well vs. those teams thanks to pro Healer LOS.
I prefer the extra damge I gain from flurry playing with my shaman in twos as well, and playing war/mage/druid in 3s I find I'm either completely locked down (hunter/lock/druid) reflecting or not. Otherwise I'm leading the charge train vs. PvE geared players who need to die ASAP (Double rogue each with double glaives is disgusting burst), so the extra damage from flurry is really welcome.
What do you folks think about the expertise trinket from Heroic Magister's terrace replacing Bloodlust Brooch for 2s and 3s where I need less on demand burst and more constant dmg?

To the Warriors who 2v2 with a Resto Shaman:
How are you all finding arena since the patch? I did some last night and we seemed to win a lot easier than we used. Comps which gave us a hard time before, especially in the mana war, such as Druid/X fell over.
I'm wondering how your Shamans are speccing these days. Mine hastily specced iGhost Wolf and thus he didn't have time to research what the most common specc is these days. Are your shamans delving deeper into Enhancement, or just simply moving a few points from Resto / Elemental to only as far as iGhost Wolf?
How are you fareing versus 2 DPS combos now? Do you find that your Shaman is able to kite the nuke on him, or is forced to still heal through it like before?
P.S: For your Sword and Board, 1.60 or a slower one?
edit: My Warrior - EU Armory
Here's our speccs, you can find his in the 2v2

2v2
I have a 2v2 team with a paladin. Even though he's a relatively fresh 70 we're hanging tough at just over 1500 rating, with occasional runs up to 1600 (inevitably followed by a streak of losses, of course). Currently I'm using a Lionheart Champion with a cookie cutter 33/25/3 spec, but with the new changes to primal nether and nether vortex, I'm in a weapon quandary.
Here are my options:
1. Stick with swordcrafting and make myself a Lionheart Executioner
2. Reroll macecrafting to make myself a Skillherald
3. Get the S2 sword/mace
I don't think S3 is going to be an option, or at least I can't count on it being an option right now. It's a big leap from low/mid 1500's to 1800's. I'm leaning towards option 3, but I'm undecided between sword and mace. I like the burst of sword spec, but I have to admit that the mace spec stun would be very nice for a relatively CC-less 2v2 makeup.
Also, how should pally/warrior take on x/disc priest? We ran into a couple of discipline priests in our last few matches and I felt completely powerless. They would typically go after my partner (whose survivability isn't great due to gear... getting better though) leaving me with very little rage due to no incoming damage and PW:S. No matter who I attack, my damage output sucks because of no rage generated for absorbed damage. If I go after the priest, my partner usually dies before I get anywhere close to killing the priest, and if I go after the DPS, the priest mana burns my partner into uselessness. What's the right strategy here?

Against a disc priest, you generally want to force them to heal while your paladin pillar-humps the burns. I try to put damage into whomever is going to soak more; if pain supp's been used on one, I like to switch to the other. Keep hamstrings/phowl up on both of them, or if against hunter/priest, make sure to keep the pet snared so your paladin can get a drink or two off. Killing the pet is also an option if the hunter isn't babysitting it. I haven't fought many priest/warlock teams this season, but I sunder up the warlock and stick him until we can find a window to burst down the pet. Sometimes we don't need to.

In 2.4 endless rage was fixed, now i see many warriors speccing 41/20/0, i tried this specc and i'm very pleased with it.
What do you think? Is a 33/28 or 35/23/3 specc still the best choice?

And I don't really notice all that much extra-rage. Was it really noticeable for you?

This past week I tried out a 41/17/3 spec because I had never tried it before. I actively avoided any points in Imp MS as a matter of principle, so there was none of that.
Pluses:
-Never felt like I was experiencing "Rage Starvation"
-Able to fully flesh out upper tier Arms talents, like Blood Frenzy, Second Wind, 2hand Spec, and Imp Hamstring
Minuses:
-10 second Disarm. Part of this is my fault. I tend to disarm other Warriors first and then they remember and Disarm me back
-No full Enrage
-No Sweeping Strikes. This one is kind of Ironic: I finally have the rage to use it, but I can't get it
-Felt dirty
I have to decide if the pluses outweigh the minuses, but overall our rating went up for the week. This is also most likely due to Shaman changes, as my Shaman went 0/20/41.

41/17/3 is interesting coming from 35/23/3. I have the same niggling issues as you mention, mainly the lack of SS now that I have the rage to fully abuse it. But I do enjoy never having an issue with rage when a stance change + crit is over half a bar of rage.
I think I put out more singe target dps than before when I ran into a mirror match up Paladin/Warrior team and did 80k to his 50k and the enemy paladin went oom rather quickly. MS is nearly always refreshed every 5 seconds, and a crit means I can WW + MS with rage to spare for HS/Piercing/Sunder while still going full bore on someone. But I'd like to run with a Shaman to see if it's even worth it or I should go back to the standard hybrid spec.
