PvP mod question

Wondering if I can get some input on some mods you like to use while PvPing. I currently use Enemy Cast bar which I prefer to the Blizz cast bar.

A while back I heard people mention a mod which would show the cooldowns for enemy players, like the time remaining on a mages ice block or a pally bubble, I don't know if something like this exists anymore.

Any suggestions on what mods can be helpful while PvPing? Been a while since I PvP'd seriously, and there have been lots of changes to how mods work since then.

Antagonist!

Antagonist is a lightweight, easy-to-setup enemy cast bar addon utilizing Ace2. It tracks enemy cast and channeling times, buff durations and cooldowns.
Does exactly what you're looking for.

I use ag_UF to set up a focus target on one of the healers, usually the paladin. This shows his castbar and target which helps a lot. Having a target castbar in the middle of your screen makes you notice it easier aswell.

I also use a kind of private mod similar to Arena Master, though the unitframes are better and it syncs with other players in your group if they have the mod. It also saves teams in a cache and as soon as you mouseover a target, it checks the cache for that player and shows the other team members of his team.

Not entirely on topic, but how do you think the arena tournament will be without the use of addons? I can hardly play effectively with the standard Blizzard UI and wonder how the top teams will adapt.

Wait what? Mods won't work in arenas anymore?... I must have missed this news flash, I hate the Blizz stock UI.

They're not allowing you to use any mods in the final stages of the Arena TOURNAMENT. If you're just going to play Arena in the normal way this has no effect on you.

I'm at work so I can't give you a link to Trinket Menu addon but on my warrior I found it very useful. You can set up a queue of trinkets to swap in when you drop combat.

There's also a good one called BGSwitch which puts you in window mode while waiting for queue and switches to fullscreen when the queue pops. This has the effect of bringing wow to the front when it's time. You can also set the mod to do this when you land from a flight or when someone whispers you.

I would like to resurrect this thread. Could some high ranked resto druids share their mod selection? I run a highly customized bartender button setup, arena master, enemy cast bar and clique as my arena mods. Anything that I absolutely have to get?

Out of curiosity, but what do people actually like in ArenaMaster? The frames look so clunky and just lots of wasted space.

I'm rather biased since I'm the author of SSPVP, was mainly wondering what people liked in it's layout.

I don't like the layout. It looks like mods I write and I am horrible with GUI stuff. But it does what it is meant to do extremely well and in a simple fashion.

A mod that displays all opponents with health and mana bars, buffs and debuffs and a cast bar, in a compact layout that I can put into a central location on the screen without covering up too much game graphics would be great. Not sure if all that is possible but that is what I would like to see.

I only know of one addon that does this, never used it and the screenshot doesn't really tell you much but maybe worth a try, http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/downl...a-unit-frames/. All of thats sort of possible, assuming you or somebody in your party is targetting the person, we can only get information about players mana/health/ect if they're mouseover, target or focus...or through guessing using the combat log which isn't very accurate.
