I tested out to run arenan with just 160 shadow resist vs shadow priest warloc combo, and damn what a difference, the question is how much resist is a good goal? What do you use?

I just got 170 SR from the AH to test this out aswell (LVL 67 green hat, pants belt, shoulder with SR enchants), lock shadowpriest is a pretty tough combo, and I'm always getting snapped so fast. It hasen't cost me any stamina, just damage and crit and Mana pool, but i run with an affliction warlock so if i live long enough, the SR should turn the tide.

Update: Just played for an hour, our rating went from ~1900 to 2060 because of this gear, its insane how much it helps, warlock/paly stand no chance, double warlock no chance. Warlock shadow priest still do a hell of a lot of damage, but it helps a LOT, we didn't come up against any well played ones yet so its hard to tell. We were also just beaten by Warlock/holy priest but only lost 4 points due to them massivly outranking and gearing us. instead of losing ~20 points from a low ranked lock shadow priest, we can now win and get 5 points, helps the ratings a lot.

The difference is massive, once black temple hits the mainstream and everyone can sport 200+ SR from 3-4 items i think locks and shadow priests will be in a world of trouble.
