Getting netherdrakes
After some quick googling I didn't get my questions answered. I'm wondering how to figure out exactly how many teams there are in a battlegroup - say 2v2. The armory ladder in my battlegroup (cyclone) shows only top 5000, but there is for certain 10k+. It would be nice to know exactly how high we have to get in order to get our netherdrake.

Look at the lowest rating 5v5 teams and go through their armories looking for the lowest 2v2 team you can find. Personally, I did mine between arena queues, and found that 930~ was as low as it gets for BG9.

As of right now my battlegroup has 3,435 5v5 teams in it so the top 17 will get netherdrakes. However, a certain number of those will have been abandoned. I'm curious if those will still count towards the top 0.5% getting a netherdrake. It could make the difference for a few of those teams.

I can't find an answer to if you need to play the last week in order to be eligible for rewards. Our current team rating should be enough for drakes but it is unlikely we will be able to play this week due to our paladins account being stolen and transfered off the server.
It's a shame how vague Blizzard have been regarding something that a lot of people have put so much time and effort into. |
Stated many times in many places that you need 20% of the seasons games to get the drakes. Nowhere does it hint or suggest that you need to do anything in the last month of the season much less the last week.

Judging from the work they put into the semi-finals tournament, they're going to print all the arena teams out and have the janitor toss darts at the list.

The same question has been asked 1000 times on the blizzard forum, i.e. Will the top 0.5% only be counting the 5k teams shown in the armoury (top 25 get mount) or the 10-15k teams that actually exist.
I've yet to see a blue response as I doubt they even know. I've only been 2v2 seriously for 2 weeks, I think I can go hard this week and hit 2300's and have a shot at it. |

Leaving a team and rejoining completely wipes your history of games played. I highly doubt they are going to look at back up records to see if someone played 20% in the past before leaving. If you want to ensure your 20% I would suggest not leaving to play on someone else's team and coming back. |

"It is the top 0.5% of the bracket, including teams that might not be shown in the Armoury. " |
