Well I tested it last night and saw it with my own eyes. I suggest you do the same.

There's always free cheese in the mouse traps, but the mice there ain't happy.

I can't speak for pallies bc they tend to be shy on the hp imo, but I have 13k when buffed with fort, kings and cs. It's the silence that hurts, the damage can be recovered by prom and a couple bandage tics.

If I had to bet on a single person cleansing a silence off that they new I was about to take, or a team of opponents recognizing that I had just proc'd UA, CCing the paladin and assisting me down in less than 5 seconds...

Let's just say my money would be on the instant cast cleanse.

edit: though I wouldn't do it a second time, because I'm sure they'd be prepared in which case the UA would actually be bait.

The last digit of Pi is delicious.

After BC I dueled a UA warlock and spellstoned myself to an ugly death.

Priests are almost always being focus fired by my team so I would feel pretty safe that UA isn't going to be dispeled for a good outcome ^_^

If you have nether protection though, you can avoid it by using the spellstone when you get a nether proc.

Does anyone know if UA is bugged to when a shadow priest dispels it they take extra damage due to SM + Shadowform? I was told that it is by a warlock on my server. It seems to me like I take anywhere from 5-6k damage on the off chance that I dispel it on accident (maybe 3 times ever) and it's never been anywhere near 3-4k as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Given that the damage from dispelling UA reads in the combat log as damage done by the person WITH UA, I would assume that when you dispel it from yourself the damage would be amplified by your talents and shadowform, but when you dispel it from another person, that would not be the case.

Shadow reflector will reflect the UA dispel damage and silence on the original warlock. Happens very rarely but very satisfying.

e: I never dispel UA intentionally. I really hate when this sort of thing happens: you're dispelling some stuff off another player and you happen to cleanse the moment UA lands and ofcourse the RNG picks UA. They need to put some sort of activation delay.

Thanks Rasp. Can anyone confirm this with data?

I have UA for now if you'd like to bring someone and test it tonight. Cast on you with and without shadowform, dispel each time. Cast on someone else, dispel. Sound good? We might not even need another person, but it would give confirmation on the talent portion of the question. Or I suppose you could do this in duels with some lucky UA lock on Alliance and avoid communication hassles.

Could probably do that. I can give you our vent info. I don't have it on hand because I'm at work but I'll PM it to you later if you want. What's a good time for you?

I thought mass dispel cleansed UA without the explosion/silence. Did I get bad information?
