Personally I think that priest/warlock is the hardest matchup for my druid/lock team. And it's not even the dispells or burns, it's prayer of mending. I just can't dps them both, while opposing warlock can dot both me and my druid up, effectively dealing twice as much damage as I do.
Yes, druid is better at running away from pets, but BE arena pretty much negates that difference :/

Mana Drain/Burn the druid. And DoT up the lock at the same time.

When he shifts to bear/cat he uses a lot of mana, just keep doing it.

You pretty much have to accept you're starting at a disadvantage. We usually have an easier time draining Druids than other classes (probably because they can afford to be more careless). You're priest just has to play LoS damn well and use his AoE fears well. In Blade's Edge it's pretty tough, but other than that, we can beat the Druid / Warlock teams we play.

My 2v2 team team played 4 games today and lost all 4 to a shaman-affliction warlock combination.
Playing Paladin/Warlock, we decided this team was unbeatable unless they make huge mistakes. Fortunately, they don't fair well against most other teams.

You have to play very defensively. The mistake priest/lock makes against druid/lock is playing aggresive, because you have two mana burns does not mean you need to try to burn the druid right away. Also learn how to coordinate curse of shadows/banish followed by fear on the warlock to let your priest drink as much as possible, if your priest is not able to drink he will lose the mana war due to the effeciency of a druid in that fight.

I personally stack spell penetration in my 2v2 set to banish Felhunters but also kill them. Another thing is for your Priest to stay mounted as long as possible, try to position yourself in each arena so that you can allow your priest to keep distance from the warlock to avoid mana drains.

Also understand how a druid works, the best way to mana drain a druid is to DPS them down and then drain their mana so they cannot afford to shift into bear. I usually drain their mana in caster form and as soon as they shift into bear I lay down all the damage I can and start draining their mana as soon as they shift out.

Acctually mindflay can be "dispelled" if you will. If a paly casts Blessing of Freedom on a preson who is being mindflayed, it will cancel the spell and make that person immune to it untill the blessing is dispelled.

If there is no warrior I will use Gnomo Artist on it.

Mindflay is a movement impairing action. Actions that normally remove movement impairing spells/effects will interrupt the mindflay.

I reject your paltry reality and substitute my own.

Small Threadjack here, but I too have found Resto Druid + Warlock to be an impossible matchup against my Elemental Shaman + Disc priest group.

We've tried mana burning the warlock to zero mana - but even if we do, life tap and the Druid HoTs are more than enough to give the lock mana to perform spells. (Bloodlusted Improved Mana burn makes quick work of mana bars).

What is the possible solution for my team? I cant snare the resto druid to keep him from going LoS, and my priest and I are very susceptible to Drain Mana (today we took a fight to 20 mins, but we eventually lost). The Lock was OOM nearly the entire time to prevent him from doing much damage.

How do you counter a Resto Druid in 2v2 without a rogue of sorts? Even when I play as my arms warrior, I have trouble keeping on them.

Put tongues on the druid and try to stay out of range of him, if he's playing defensively like you said he would be further back anyway, if not use your fears on him instead.

At that point they will have effectively 0 dps, and you win by attrition.

Also if your priest has good awareness, mass dispelling hots when they build up.
You're forgetting druids can remove curses......
