Pvp video compilations

So I'm trying to get a few guildmates to play arena with me. They're all completely green in arenas and I'd like to put together a set of video references for them to watch. Since others may be in this situation some day, I'd like to compile a list of good pvp learning videos.

I'll try to include any brief writeups/descriptions you include.

Druid:

Sonny 3 - #1 rated druid in the World, 2.4k all brackets By zvyn - A druid in 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5

Sonny's Resto play in 2v2 and 3v3 - The name says it all.

PvP Source : Your #1 Source for Competitive World of Warcraft PvP - This is a streaming video of Druid/Warrior with Hafu and her warrior friend.

Leleth - Feral Druid BG Duel Arena - Raw feral druid dueling footage.

Gronzy1 - Resto Druid Arena PvP - Resto Druid PvP

Gronzy 2 - Resto Druid Arena - More Resto Druid PvPage

Nerf Druids 5 : Cow Ninja of Doom - Ninja Druids, need I say more?

Back to Basics: Double Druid Gambit - It offers something rare in PvP videos. Players making mistakes, losing matches, and then learning from them and adapting to problems that earlier broke the team. This has a great explanation of the matches as well. Highly recommended.

Affix - Sponsor Me (2300 3v3) - This rogue/druid/mage team is among the best teams out there.

(Hafu) 2v3 Druid/Warrior Arena - FileFront.com

Online Video: Deep Feral 5 | Veoh Video Network

The Fat Cow and The Pro (2500+ Rating) - Mage/Druid team 2v2

Hunter:

Goku Hunter 3v3 ~2300 rating BG3 Cyclone EU - A hunter on a 3v3 team in BG9

Oakleh Vol 3 - Hunter - One of the top hunter's in the world (at the time this was made) lets us see how it's done.

2600 Hunter 5on5, Sejta from Knockout

2100~ 2v2 hunter/priest arena movie - While they're only 2100 rated, it's hard to find good Hunter movies. Check out this Hunter/Priest.

What is a Yoens? Solo R13 Hunter PvP @70 - This is a solo video, so no area play. Still, you can learn some things about hunting the most dangerous game.

Toronto WSVG Yea We Lift Vs. MOB.Turtlebeach - Someone taping Hamchook on a handheld recorder at a WSVG. However the quality is terrible, and the people talking in the background are fairly infuriating.

Mage:

WarcraftMovies.com - World of Warcraft Movies - A set of how-to mage pvp tutorials.

Saru & Tharbad 2on2 Double-Frostmage ~2200 By Saru & Tharbad - Double frost mage movie in the 2100-2200 bracket

2300 3v3 Arena Priest pov BG9 - Priest healing point of view, good to learn from.

2300 3v3 Arena Priest pov BG9 2 - A sequel to the video above.

Xantims6 Spriest 2v2 arena - Shadow Priest/Rogue 2v2 arena.

1t1d_arena.avi - FileFront.com - This is a holy priest video. Learn the basics of healing/arena play. From early season 1, but still a good one.

Neilyo 10 - Here's Neilyo as AR/Prep during it's heyday.

Affix - Sponsor Me (2300 3v3) - This rogue/druid/mage team is among the best there are.

You could try Kollektiv-Rag Dolled for elemental shaman in 5v5. I thought it was a pretty good video, but you need to watch it in slow motion to really follow all of the action.

If you're trying to teach a mage how to PvP, nothing beats Faxmonkey's videos (Google Video search Faxmonkey). They aren't arena, but his videos will teach a mage how to survive and, more importantly, get kills in any situation. The music is great too!

What are you talking about? It's been there all along...really...

It's funny though since I spent all weekend trying to find a hunter to start a 3v3 team with (have a myself, a holy pally, and a druid). I think hunter, rogue, druid has some fun potential.

My favorite PvP video, warlock/druid 2v2, along with assorted 3v3 and 5v5 matches. Easily one of the best. Lock PoV.

I'm pretty surprised Vurtne has not been mentioned here yet. If I had to give an example of "skill" and just overall amazing and quick thinking moves, his movies definitely fit the profile. The editing in his movies is also quite good, most of his movies are pre-bc however I think only his latest and final movie is a TBC movie.

Vurtne Elemental Mage PvP 3 is one example however he has I think probably 4-5 movies on warcraftmovies.com just do a search for "Vurtne"

I'd recommend Azoth's Back to Basics video. It offers something that I think is rare in PvP videos. Players making mistakes, losing matches, and then learning from them and adapting to problems that earlier broke the team.

For druid, include Gronzy's two videos as well as Cycloneman's. Gronzy gave alot of good primers before resto arena was even perceived viable. Good stuff like taking advantage of warrior GCD on cyclone, defensive feral charge, and kiting the s.priest-warlock combo when people were still figuring them out in S1. Cycloneman showed some early 5v5 as well as how to survive double burst DPS as resto.

For pure entertainment, nothing beats Nerf Druids 5 by Azgaz.

Gronzy 2 - Resto Druid Arena

The affix link is no good (unless you have a premium warcraftmovies.com account).

Edit: ignore the above. warcraftmovies.com's free streams are finally working again.

Thanks for the heads up on the affix link...I can't find a free version anywhere so you may have to wait in the 400+ filefront download queue if you want to see that one. Thanks again everyone who is helping this collection grow.

The only paladin pvp video I know of is Sck's.

As to be expected of a class with no offensive utility to speak of, it's rather boring.

Uh, but I guess you learn basic positioning, holy light/FoL ratios, freedoming, etc.

The best holy priest arena vid is trance's 5v5 here:

1t1d_arena.avi - FileFront.com

Unfortunately, its a bit old, being from early season 1, but still good.

It's definitely hard to find holy priest arena vids, most are shadow.

I would rather watch vids of hunters video taping themselves IRL playing the game. Watching them bang their faces on walls when they are dead zoned from 15 yards with 100ms latency due to server delay.

Ide make a vid if I ever bought a desktop that can run fraps w/o loosing fps. Laptop + Lazyboy is too nice however.

Most of the decent hunter videos that I can think of are all of the solo variety. Yoens video, while he's solo in all of it, is a pretty good representation though.

What is a Yoens?

Vurtne has nothing to do with arenas, or group pvp.

WotF #1 3vs3 Arena [2500 rating] mainly s1 but top rated and well too known combo.

Can anyone recommend a decent arena shadowpriest movie? I run a 2v2 with a RL friend who is a half decently geared (read full pvp epics and half gladiator gear) but he tends to stand there and eat focus fire. He's not great at trying to get range/LOS with Hunters/Frost Mages etc. I would love to show him a movie of someone actually trying to get out of focus fire.

He is always focussed, this we have come to terms with, but he basically panics and stands there trying to cast while someone beats on him. I can't get a Warrior or Rogue off him and he dies before DW/Clos wears off.

2100~ 2v2 hunter/priest arena movie

2v2 footage of a Hunter and Priest set up, not a very high rating admittedly, but I think this is the only publicly available Hunter arena video ;p

Also, Sck from Pandemic released a new video of them doing 5s last week
