Do GMs ever fix rating bugs?
 

We went up against a bad team tonight and played them 8 times, going 7-1.

Every time we won a game, the rating change showed " ''''''''''' " for everyone. The game did not register in the honor tab.
The one time we lost, we did lose points and the game did seem to completely register. Our games played (ie 10 win 10 loss) never changed either after the games we won.

Normally I wouldn't care, games bug out every so often. But this was pretty frustrating due to a virtual "loss" of 100 points.

I didn't get much luck GM wise, the one I ended up talking to didn't understand the arena point system enough to comprehend the problem, unfortunately.

Am I out of luck?

I've never ever had arena point/bugs fixed, despite sending daily tickets for a week the first time it happened, and spending over an hour explaining to the GM exactly what happened, and how it was indisputably and provably a bug. In the end the best I got was "I'll submit a bug report to the dev team, but I can't change the rating or points". I don't know anyone who's had rating problems fixed by a GM either. So your certainly out of luck.

Last night it happened on my BG many times. We played 10 games, and had 3 bugged.

At the moment, it seems you shouldn't do much PvP/Arena, except for fun. Things are messed up a lot right now, not only honor calculations for Alterac, but also a growing number of broken arena game ratings like you mentioned. :(

I did not do a single Alterac Valley yesterday, and had around 2500 points showing in my estimated honor for the day after doing mostly AB and a few EotS. When the server rolled over tonight, it said I earned just over 800 points yesterday and 100 points today. This was after doing the AB daily at about 5am yesterday and again around 1:30am after the daily reset on top of at least 6-7 battle grounds over the course of the day. There is no way that should have been possible. I believe that honor is broken for every battle ground at the moment. In fact I had a guild member lose over 6k honor in a single day to this same bug over a week ago. The GM told him he did not lose any honor, though how you go from 6k to 0 is beyond me (he checked the honor tab as well as his honor totals for simple miscalculations and it had not moved from the day before).

I lost 6k one day and then gained it all back 2 days later. No idea what's going on with that.

some time glithch happen could not kill the boss in ramp becasue add keap spawning it happen just open with gms

I believe I have narrowed down the reason for this happening, and I need others to try and verify if this is true.

Every time I have lost honor myself, or seen a fellow guild member lose honor, I was in a Battle Ground at the time honor rolled over. Last week we had a small group of about 4-5 people and every single one of us lost at least a small amount of honor when the roll-over occurred during the BG. Tonight (this morning) I waited for the 4am server time honor roll over outside of the BGs and I received almost exactly what the estimated honor said I was supposed to get.

Can a few people who lost honor post whether they were in Battle Grounds at the time of the rollover, or perhaps keep an eye on it so we can figure out if this is actually the cause?

A friend was told by a GM to log off during honour reset. Unfortunately honour rollover hasn't been occuring on time lately, and it can happen any time from 9pm to 2am (server). Logging out during this time isn't really practical

Somehow my teammates who have played 100% of our 3v3 games are down 2 points in personal rating to our team rating. Maybe something to do with me playing an alt on the same team?

Sometimes rated signups get matched with skirmish.

That's the explenation I got when scorign a very easy win and not gettign credited for it. An earlier GM claimed it was just a graphical bug and would get counted when points were 'given'. (offcourse it didn't)
The skirmish explenation does seem valid though, all 3 times I didn't get rating added we won very easely and yet gained alot of points.
