First of, what came in mind is that majority of everyone here seams too be PvP'ers. And there for support the PvP > PvE gear difference in PvP. But me on the other hand, i would like too see it as it was back before TBC. It's no fun at all to raid 6-7 days per week, playing 5-6 hours in instance everyday and 3-5 (if not more) farming money and getting other stuff for instance progression. And on my way home from instance or whatever i get raped by some tard who plays 2 hours every other day and got merciless gear. (Yes, my guild has cleared whole game atm so not 7 days raiding now but 4-5 days everyweek now that all game is on farm status).

My point is, i think people who do endgame PvE progression puts down much more time in this game then most other people who just play some PvP occasionaly. I don't know how much time the high ranked teams put in too Arena but i don't have a problem with it if the best of the best get something extra out of arena. But as it is now, you could train a monkey to play wow and get full Merciless etc. Can't train a monkey too clear Hyjal/BT (And pain in the ass Keal'Thas ofc).
Not at all helpfull. Hopefully this can get deleted. You really shouldn't make posts like this here.

You know, I'm sure no one cares about my opinion on this, myself being a mid-tier PVPer, but I'm going to weigh in with the people who think this was a good change. For one thing, most people who do arena didn't even know about that mod -- I'm talking about the masses. So it was a huge advantage of those "in the know" vs. those who did not know.

So you think that it should be a part of arena? Fair enough, I can respect that opinion, however I believe that arena should not be a huge timesink, and that making gear swaps based on composition ensures that you must have multiple PVP sets, which is not reasonable in my opinion. It's great for the bored hardcores I'm sure, but it turns arena into something I don't think it was meant to be.

It may detract from the strategy at the top end, but I strongly believe the element of mystery should be present. Mods like Proximo already tell you ridiculous amounts of information about other players, including now what spec they are. I think that's too much information and takes your opponents' ability to surprise you away. I use Proximo because I don't want t[o be crippled in my tier...but that doesn't make it right.

Anyone who thinks being able to adjust your game plan to completely gimp a team... hasn't really thought too much.

How is stacking SR against a shadow dmg team fair? Can a warlock stack 30k armor vrs a warrior team? If they could, would you consider that balanced? I don't think so.

Blizzard has always intended for you to not know who you are facing. People that have relied on exploiting unintended features shouldn't complain.. you got to do it up till now.

The argument of "trying for glad.. only to keep getting knocked down by heavy shadow teams is bullshit" is pretty lame. Certain class combo's just beat certain class combos. That's how the games always been.. get use to it. My SP/UA Lock teams laughs at Paly+War teams... but then we cry when we hit a priest/rogue. Just because a equally geared/equally skilled team will generally win the majority of the games against us.. doesn't mean we should be able to completely gimp their team.
