The guild is led by Megustatumom, Deathnarr and Vekop. Questions regarding raiding should be directed to them.
During progression, we raid three nights a week: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00-11:00 p.m. CST. Raid invites begin 20 minutes prior to the raid, and raids start precisely at 8.
We do not use DKP. Loot is determined by a Wish List, which consists of a list of top 5 items from all the members, if needed loot council will be used. Not using dkp eliminates hoarding, people taking offspec loot over mains, people not taking upgrades, new raiders not being able to get loot for weeks, and various other problems that lend themselves to a lot of drama, and allows us to take into consideration other factors that dkp does not allow.
We offer free enchants/gems to our members and free repairs to our veterans.
Our main focus in recruiting is to replace good players with subpar attendance with better players with better attendance. We maintain a very small roster and are not recruiting for people to be backup raiders. As such, we are not particularly interested in people who come with limitations on their raid schedule. We are also not particularly interested in individuals without gear and experience comparable to our current raiders.
If you are applying with significant gaps in gear or experience, please put extra effort into explaining to us why you are worth the work we'd need to put in to get you on par or the extra effort we'd need to put in to accommodate your schedule.
Individual Knowledge : We expect players to be intimately familiar with the ins and outs of both their class and the classes they raid with. As officers we will take it upon ourselves to know your class and what we should expect from you in any given situation. There are boundless resources available to aid you in understanding your class. If you can't find them on your own, don't expect us to find them for you.
Responsibility : Everybody makes mistakes occasionally. The quickest way to end up in the no-fly zone is to make excuses and point fingers. We take responsibility for all of our faults and we expect our raiders to do exactly the same.
Respect : Everyone who raids with you is considered your equal and should be treated as such. If you have a concern with another members' performance bring it up with an officer and we will approach them.
Consistency : The sign of a great player isn't the ability to perform exceptionally well. It's the ability to ALWAYS perform exceptionally well. We expect all of our raiders to perform at their absolute best every raid day. We understand that there can be mitigating outside circumstances and we expect to be informed of them.
Be Excited : You need to be in the instance to kill bosses and to enjoy raiding with your peers. When a boss goes down we expect to hear that celebration and know that you could walk on water if there was a sizable body of it nearby.
Promptness : We expect all of our members to show up to raids precisely on time. Because we all have more going on in our life than just raiding we don't enjoy wasting people's time, and we definitely don't appreciate anybody who does.
Socializing : This guild was founded by a group of people who initially raided together, but connected and played games outside of Warcraft. While socializing isn't a necessity, being able to raid in an environment with close friends is a requirement.
