Who we are:

Skunkworks is a guild for stellar players who cannot or do not want to commit to the time-intensive raid schedules of traditional "hardcore" guilds. If you want to kill Arthas, but your newly acquired significant other doesn't understand that "lame fantasy thing you do," then we might be what you're looking for. Until a recent rebranding we raided under the tag <Casually Serious>.

We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-11 PST, even after patch releases and during progression races. That's right, just 8 hours a week. Accordingly, we run a very tight (28ish) roster with the expectation that our members achieve near 100% attendance. The guild was formed to take advantage of some of the "casual friendly" changes that were brought by WotLK, and we have successfully pushed the limits of what can be achieved by great players on a "lolcasual" schedule. We are 12/12 for hard modes in ICC. We achieved a US70 HLK kill. We have the Celestial Defender, Grand Crusader and Death's Demise titles, and were top 250 US for these achievements despite our light schedule.

Loot is handled by /random with a "don't be a douche" clause, and loot council override for legendaries and key items.

Balnazzar is a low-pop server centrally located in Dallas with no queue, a suprisingly good economy, and a healthy battlegroup.

Who we expect you to be:

Applicants will only be considered if they demonstrate above-average intelligence, exemplary skill, a thorough understanding of game mechanics, a high level of maturity, a strong command of the English language, and above all a complete and total lack of epeening, douchebaggery, asshattery, and anything else that would make you unpleasant to be around. We all get paid to deal with idiots, why should we pay to spend our leisure time with them as well?

We are currently recruiting a Holy Paladin. We will always consider exceptional applicants of any class.
