[Horde][Mal'Ganis] <Serious Casual> Melee/Tank/Healer (11/12 HM) (9 hr/wk)

What is SCP looking for currently?
Melee - We are looking to add a few melee, mainly warriors, rogues or DKs
Tank - Need 1-2 tanks with a good understanding of boss mechanics.
Healer - Not looking for anything in specific, 1-2 solid healers of any class.
Who Are We?
Serious Casual of Mal’Ganis is a large guild formed mainly from the community of Elitist Jerks forums. Many came together and found that the large guild population supported a raiding roster. SCP was the first group to form, and we blazed through Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Black Temple, and scored our first Illidan kill the very week before Sunwell opened up. Caught up to the rest of the raiding world, we progressed in Sunwell steadily and completed it before the massive talent changes that were put into place to herald Wrath of the Lich King.
Where Are We Currently?
SCP is at this time, the most progressed raid group in Serious Casual. We are currently working our way through the Icecrown Citadel hardmodes, only Lich King is left. We don’t get world firsts, but we do make progress, and we make it on a lighter schedule than many other guilds do.
What’s Our Raid Schedule Like?
Wednesday 8-11 Central/Server time
Thursday 8-11 Central/Server time
Sunday 8-11 Central/Server time
That’s nine hours a week. We expect applicants to have no problems with these three raid days. We understand that things happen from time to time, but please don’t apply unless you can make all three of these days. We do nine hours of progress a week, and want them to be sharp.
How Does Loot Get Distributed?
Loot is primarily done via /random. From time to time, loot is distributed in order to flesh out set bonuses or for progression purposes. Overall though, we adhere to a policy of modesty – if you’re lucky enough to win a piece or two of loot in one night, don’t be a douche!
Guild Culture
Our raid group consists of people who are in the 22-30 age range. Most of us have completed college. Some are new fathers. We’re a bit older than a lot of other guilds. To that end, we value our time and how we spend it. We're looking for raiders who are inquisitive, who aren’t afraid to experiment and give feedback to others on how to improve. We're looking for raiders who strive to be the best at what they do, who don’t lose track of what’s going around them, and have good judgment-making abilities and ‘fess up when they make errors. Raids are generally laid-back and we don’t suffer any drama.

Send myself or Caniki a PM on the Elitist Jerks forums. Tell us about yourself, what prior guild/raid experience you have, and an Armory link. Don't quote your Gearscore, we will be checking your Armory. If there are any spec/gear discrepancies you think may be useful to explain, please do so. If you have any questions, please ask them.
If all goes well, the next step is an interview over Ventrilo, and finally, a trial.
