The Backseat on US PvP Korgath is currently recruiting skilled raiders to finish out Wrath of the Lich King and go into Cataclysm as strong as possible. We are only looking for exceptional players, so please don't waste our collective time with half-assed applications and a lack of commitment.
We pride ourselves on fostering and sustaining a community of people who not only raid together successfully, but also genuinely enjoy each other's company. We insist on having an interview over Vent in the application process, and we require active two-way communication from our Trials. Our recruitment process is ongoing and we expect each member to consistently be earning their raid spot. As of now, we have very few openings, but could potentially use these classes/specs:

What we offer:
Here in The Backseat we pride ourselves on community. We are not a raid group, we are a family. When the big bag dragons come our way, we put on our serious faces and we kill them, but most of the time we are just a group of people looking to have fun. Whether it's WoW, Starcraft 2, CoD,
iSketch, or transformice, we are there together. As an applicant we extend our family to you too. (if you are suspicious of those last two, just look them up. you won't be disappointed :P)

What we expect:
Good family members. We do not bring 'numbers' to our raids, because at the end of the day, you can pull 20k dps on LK but if you're a douche we don't want to raid with you. We expect all the things that any raiding guild would expect (on-time, prepared, etc) and more.
We are different from other raiding guilds. some guilds recruit players with the best gear, and the best WoL parses. but in The Backseat, we make sure that our sense of environment in the guild is something we can brag about. We are not an exclusive, cliquish guild that you have to have been in for years just for your opinions to have value (everybody has seen it before).
We just want to ensure that The Backseat is around for a very long time, and the first way to do that is start with a strong foundation. Now that The Backseat has a strong foundation, we are looking to expand our horizons and build upon our foundation. Hopefully you can help us do that.

What sets The Backseat apart from the swath of 'hardcore' guilds on Korgath, is that we keep a casual raiding schedule while still being able to enjoy the top tiers of PVE content WoW has to offer.
We are dedicated, we are driven, we strive for the highest level of play from all of our members.....
But most importantly, we all have lives and foster the painfully obvious fact that there is more to life than hardcore video gaming.
