--[Resurgence - Area 52]--

<Resurgence> is an established “professional casual” raiding guild with one goal in mind: to clear all available content.

We are looking for those willing to challenge themselves to consistently be better raiders. The type of players who bring the right attitude and solid performance to boot. There is a reason the majority of our members have been with the guild for over a year (some 2+ years). It's because we respect each other and enjoy raiding as a guild. We also recognize that there are things that take precedence over WoW; hence our schedule remains a steady three night (12 hour) raiding week.

We use a Rotating Loot Council to distribute loot. Every month 3 members are chosen at random to hand out loot with 2 officers based on performance, attendance, attitude, strength of upgrade, etc.

--[History]--

<Resurgence> formed nearly three years ago as a 10 man guild on Windrunner. Halfway through the Burning Crusade expansion we transferred to Area 52 with a new found focus on 25 man content. All raid bosses (including Kil'jaedan) were thoroughly cleared prior to the Wrath of the Lich King release.

10 Man Content:
Ulduar Hardmodes: Cleared (Rusted Proto + Algalon)
Trial of the Grand Crusader: Cleared (Tribute to Insanity)
Icecrown Citadel: 12/12 - 11/12HC *Glory of the Icecrown Raider* (2 Groups)
Ruby Sanctum: 1/1 Normal

--[Raid Schedule]--

Monday; Wednesday; Thursday (7:45pm to 12:00am EST)

Off nights include opportunities for 10 man content and experienced arena play.

We are looking for the following classes:
2 Hunters (HIGH PRIORITY)
1 Ele Shaman
1 Prot Paladin (HIGH PRIORITY)
1 Holy Paladin
1-2 Ranged DPS (Any class)

Applicants must have experience up to and including Lich King. Must be geared enough to be competitive in Hardmode Encounters.

What we expect from our raiders:
We are looking for reliable, trustworthy, and consistent raiders that push themselves to play at the best of their ability. That means two things: that you make our raid schedule times and can follow instructions to complete tasks the raid leader gives you.

Topping healing and damage meters is great but we're really looking for players that can approach encounters with quality effort and execution. We are looking for team-oriented players that prioritize what is best for the raid rather than their individual numbers.

All raiders are required to keep up-to-date on the latest theory-crafting involving their gear, talent specs, and class mechanics. Involving your secondary spec for certain encounters is highly recommended.

Raiders are expected to read boss strategies, watch the videos, and be fully prepared before seeing a boss encounter. Full consumables (appropriate flasks/food, healing potions, dps potions, mana potions) are obviously a requirement.

Resurgence is an adult guild with a grown-up-yet-somewhat-silly atmosphere. We raid to have fun - clearing content is far more enjoyable when you do it with a group of people you can laugh along with the whole way. That being said a positive attitude is a must - we don't expect anyone to open up immediately but ego trips and disrespect will not be tolerated.

What you can expect from the guild
Our guild is a friendly community with fair, honest, and experienced leadership. Our forums are quite active with commentary on boss strategies and theory-crafting. We also like to joke around quite a bit.

We work as a team in everything we do - our officers seek input from all raiders on key decisions. Everything from recruitment process to loot distribution is a team effort.

Guild focus will be on our 25 man content – needless to say if you're a person expecting to raid every night this might not be the guild for you.
