<Dissonance> is Level 25 Horde Raiding Guild located on the High Population Earthen Ring Server. Earthen Ring is located in Blizzard's Chicago Data Center. <Dissonance> was established in March 2005 as a small PvP guild and have since grown and developed into one of the top raiding guilds on the server. 12/12 Normal Cataclysm 25M Raids
65/13 Heroic Cataclysm 25M Raids (Halfus, Chimaeron, Atramedes, Magmaw, Maloriak, Valiona & Theralion) Tuesday/Thursday/Monday 8:15pm EST - 11:00pm EST. We also utilize raid extensions to further progression and decrease the amount of farming required.
What We Offer<Dissonance> offers its members more than just a guild in a MMORPG. <Dissonance> is more of a gaming community, where members communicate outside of World of Warcraft, play many other games together such as Rift, Left for Dead, and Team Fortress 2. We are an adult community, most of us maintaining full time jobs, family, and friends outside of the virtual world. We also maintain a PG-13 Ventrilo which is very effective at maintaining a respectable and friendly environment.
When it comes to raiding, we perform to the best of our ability in the time allotted each week. Ideal applicants will be mature adults who would ideally strive to make 100% of our raid times, comfortably knowing when real life calls they are able to deal with it in a guilt free environment. Ideal applicants are also players who understand their class, the mechanics of raiding, and come prepared with proper knowledge and consumables for the current challenge.
While we expect our members to come prepared with flasks and food, our members are usually more than willing to put down raid food and cauldrons. In addition, the guild also provides enchanting materials for upgrades and pays associated repair costs. Current NeedsWe are currently accepting all exceptional players. Anyone who has been a part of the World of Warcraft raiding community knows how fast member turnover can happen. We like to feel we are prepared. We typically maintain a raiding roster of 30-33 members to allow for real life, vacations, member turnover, and adjusting raid composition for various fights. We don't want to run lean at 25-27 members and not be able to use our 7.5 hours/week raid time effectively.
High: Balance Druid, Restoration Shaman, Feral DPS Druid, Protection/Fury Warrior
Medium: Ranged DPS
