About Us
The actual guild <Standout> was formed only recently in preparation for Cataclysm, but we've been playing together for years now. I personally started just before BC launched, and a few others in the guild have been playing since vanilla. We're a group of friends (there's 5 of us) that went to high school together. We're not looking to be a server first, hardcore progression-type guild, but we are looking to put serious effort into raiding and progression. If you're a serious min/maxer (which I know a lot of people here are ) then we probably aren't right for you. Our two day raid schedule probably means we won't be on the bleeding edge of progression--our schedules don't really allow us to devote more time to raiding. We're excited about the new guild system (well, I am at least!) but you probably won't find much luck if you want to pvp, as we haven't traditionally been big on it.

Area 52 is a great server--for horde, at least. There is a large imbalance of population in our favor (for example, we have Wintergrasp almost 100% of the time).

About You
While we're looking to be casual in our focus, that doesn't mean we want bad players. You do have to know your class and be able to learn from your mistakes. In addition, you should be on time and prepared. That's really all we ask. You don't even need to study up on the fights beforehand (although it won't hurt!). Since we're only going to raid two days a week, we intend to use our time fully.

Raid days/times:
Sunday & Monday
7:30p - 10:30p (eastern)

Class-specific Notes
We're not looking for specific classes, just roles:
1 (maybe 2) tank
1 (maybe 2) healer
2 melee dps
2 ranged dps

Again, this guild is not for the hardcore min/maxer that wants to raid 4 days a week and will quit the guild after two wipes on a boss. We simply don't have the schedules to allow it. So be aware of that beforehand. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we'd love to have you in the guild with us.
