About Us
Hostile is a PvP guild built around the quality of people that we invite. We recently started as a small group of friends about 3 months ago that wanted a PvP guild to focus on Rated Battlegrounds in Cataclysm. We all come from different backgrounds, from hardcore raiding to arena gladiator. Over the past months we have been planning our approach to recruiting and developing our policies. We have gotten the framework in place now and are pushing forward toward the release of Cataclysm.

We are a highly-focused guild. We will be taking our PvP activities very seriously and recruiting accordingly. We only recruit players who can commit to our schedule. Other players are welcome to join us as casual status to fill in when needed.
At this time, we aren’t setting any ratings requirements to join as many of our founding members do not have the arena experience either. This will likely change in the future once the first Cataclysm season begins.

What We Look For

High Attendance
We assume that our Members will sign up, show up and attend the full duration of all of our PvP activities. However, we do understand that real life happens and everyone will have to miss from time to time. We just ask that this is a rare occurrence and does not develop into a regular habit. Our minimum attendance is 66% over a 30 day period to maintain Member status. It must be said that players that show greater dedication to the guild with higher attendance will likely be rewarded for doing so.


Loyalty
We are looking for people that want to join Hostile to stay. We do not recruit players who appear to just be looking for greener pastures and are likely to move to another guild as soon as things don't go their way. We find that the members of our guild appreciate the careful screening of applications, in this regard.

Mature Gamers
We only recruit players who are 18+. The average age of a Member in Hostile is 24-28. In addition to age, we look at maturity. Players who continually pick fights, cause drama or constantly cry about the plight of <insert gripe here>, will find themselves without a guild.
