We have been pushing the Heroic Lich King 25 fight, and have many ~50% attempts. We are raiding right up till Cataclysm launches, at which time we will remain a 25 man raid guild focused on end game content, as we have been since release.
Cataclysm Plans: We are going to remain focused on 25-man content, and our plan is to have a raiding group leveled to 85 and geared to start raiding by Dec 19th, with 10-man raids starting the week before that as members are ready.
Raid Times: Our schedule is Sunday-Wednesday 7:15-11:00EST. It is adjusted to meet the current content. Currently we raid 25 mans Sunday-Wednesday. When rated BG's become available we will be running guild BG groups on one or two non-raid nights for interested folks.
Needs
------------------
We keep a fairly tight raid roster, and we expect high attendance. As such, we recruit people to raid, and desire people who can step in and contribute immediately. Cataclysm is a great time to get in on equal footing since everyone will be evaluated on their skill when faced with challenging new content while we are all similarly undergeared! So, if you think you're an exceptional player who can hang with the best, this is a great time to put that to the test.
At this time our needs are for 2 Melee (Most any class/spec) and 3 Ranged (1 Elemental Shaman and 2 hunter/lock) and 1 to 2 healers (Pally/Druid/Priest)
DK: DPS
Druid: Bear/Cat /Resto
Mage: Closed
Paladin: Holy
Priest: Holy/Disc
Shaman: Elemental
Warrior: DPS
Hunter: Open
Rogue: Open
Warlock: Open
------------------
Stability - We've been raiding since WoW has been released. We have strong leadership, no drama, and plans to keep raiding for years to come. Unlike many guilds, we're not recruiting for the short term.
Guild Leveling - We have many very active members who will be working hard to experience every aspect of the new expansion, so we should see steadily increasing guild benefits.
Gold - We offer monthly payouts of gold earned while raiding (~600/month). We offer guild repairs (75/day initiate, 125/day member). We also offer special incentives at other times to achieve short term goals.
Fun - It's the reason why we play.
Enchanting Materials - The guild bank is stocked with high level enchanting materials for use on raid upgrades.
Fish Feasts - Used for every raid.
What we ask of you
------------------
Effort – With the new level cap, we're looking to get into raiding as soon as is reasonable, and that does mean that you need to be prepared. It will take effort to get to 85, and then more effort to run groups to put together the drops, crafted gear, and JP-purchasable items that you need for your main spec, and we're looking for people who are as excited to get to it as we are. You should have knowledge of what gear you need to be ready to raid and be working towards that set, with the best available gems, enchants and consumables. You need to be able to display an understanding of your class mechanics, role in a raid, and ability to learn new fights.
Attitude – It’s a game. We play for fun. Fit with the guild is taken very seriously. We’re a bunch of mostly 18-30 guys and girls who have fun playing together. While we have a good time, we also know when it’s time to buckle down and work hard.
Skill – The best way to determine skill is to see you in a raid. Because we don’t wish to have anyone transfer that we’re not serious about, be able to express your knowledge of your class and why you’re an exceptional player who would be an asset and is worth a shot. Gear will come with time. Skill will not. Impress us with your knowledge of your class and gameplay mechanics. Feel free to share any theorycrafting or other work you've done.
Commitment - We make a commitment to you, and ask you to do the same to us. A raid takes a team of more than 25 individuals working together. We rely on you to show up to raids, research your class and new fights, respect your fellow players, and notify us when you are unavailable. You rely on us for gear, experience, and coordination. It's a large investment of our time to train and gear new players, and we ask the same investment on your part, so that we can each benefit.
