History and Philosophy
Kalimdor's Legion (or KL) has been on Hydraxis since the early days of the Burning Crusade. Our goal is to provide a mature and enjoyable guild environment, while still overcoming all challenges. With server first heroic lich king (10 and 25), we've shown that we can handle whatever Blizzard sends our way.
With Cataclysm right around the corner, KL is looking for players with the skill and drive to push content, to improve their play, and to always do better the next time. We want to continue pushing server firsts and improving our overall position, while still providing a fun place to raid. We are also interested in participating in the new rated battleground system.
If you are interested in being a part of that we'd love to hear from you.
Expectations
We expect you to show the commitment, effort, and skill required to handle the hardest content in the game, as well as being generally pleasant and drama-free.
Whether gearing up your character or reading up on boss strategies, preparation is a key part of a successful raid. Effort is required outside the 12 hours a week where you're raiding with the team. We're looking for people who understand that, and commit to making it happen
Further, you need to be able to perform in the heat of the moment. The unexpected happens and thinking on your feat is a necessity.
Finally, while success is great, failure is a part of raiding. Players who are always looking to improve, who recognize failure AND how to fix it, and who aren't prone to repeating mistakes are players we want on the team.
