About Us:
Sleepless Knights was formed in January 2005 shortly after the release of World of Warcraft. Over the past six years, we have become a consistent and stable guild focused on 25-man hard-mode progression. Our main focus is building a strong guild while maintaining a positive, friendly and fun environment. We pride ourselves on the very low amount of drama that occurs in our guild, and we uphold a respectable reputation on our server. Outside of 25-man progression, we keep active with a variety of activities, including alt raids, achievement runs, group PvP, arena and other events. Our guild is extremely active, with members online at all hours of the day. Guild leadership considers their position as one of service rather than power, and always has an open ear to any concerns. We also provide flasks, feasts and repairs during progression raids
About You:
We are looking for quality players comfortable playing at a level necessary for the hardest encounters in the game. You must be mature, open to constructive criticism and continuously seeking ways to improve. Your performance in a raid must be good, but your attitude, reliability and personality must also be a fit. You should be familiar with the strategies for each encounter in advance, the latest theorycrafting for your class, and your gear, gems and enchants should be appropriate for our current progression. We all play together as a team, and each member is expected to bring a team mentality to each raid. You should remember that the raid 'win' meter is more important than any personal meter you may be running. While we expect players to strive to do the best they can, we know it's the little things that can make the difference between success and failure. You also must be able to look at the big picture on each encounter to help the group work through each challenge. We are looking for players who take a sense of ownership in the raid group's success and do what needs to be done without needing to be asked.
Progression:
In Vanilla, Naxxramas-40 was a little over half cleared when The Burning Crusade expansion was released. We were working on Kil'jaeden pre-3.0 and killed him on the next pull after the patch. In Wrath of the Lich King, we were the leading progression guild on our server for most of the expansion and we cleared all 25-man hard-modes pre-4.0, including Lich King 25 Heroic. In Cataclysm, we have remained the top guild on our server, and are currently 8/13 in 25-man heroic raid content.
