Spurious is a 10-man raid guild on Echo Isles. Our focus is mainly on ten-man progression (running 2 different 10 man runs), but this is changing and we are looking for a few more so we can run 25-man raids. The guild was founded by a group of friends who wanted to play the game together and have fun. The guild leadership has previous successful raiding experience in vanilla wow, BC, and in WotLK.

Right now we’re looking for like-minded people to join us! A good guild applicant is aware of what is going on in a fight, comes to raids prepared (reagents, flasks, good attitude, food, etc.), can learn from his or her mistakes, and can learn things quickly. We're not going to yell at anyone, but if your performance is not up to par, you will be given constructive criticism.

We also want people who share similar values and goals within the game. Our members are mature, aging from 19 – 40 years old. Racist, sexist, or homophobic language is not acceptable; we ask that you treat others in the community with respect. We also want people who want to progress in a ten-man environment—to get the drakes, to get the achievements, and to down all hard-mode content. We pride ourselves in having a drama free environment and consider our fellow guildies as friends.


Raid format:
2 10 man raids (trying to get a few more so we can run 25 man raids)

Raid Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 7:00-10:00 PM PST.

Spurious will be a great fit for you if:

* You are a mature player that wants a drama free raiding guild.
* You want to progress and see end game content for a maximum of 9 hours per week raid time.
* You are tired of the racism, sexism, homophobia, and swearing that is all too common in hardcore raiding guilds, and you want to be part of a positive, pleasant enjoyable raiding experience where people laugh and enjoy themselves during raids.

Requirements:

* Applicants should be in a mix of properly itemized 333/346 PvE gear.
* Must be able to use Ventrillo.
