Benevolent is a casual-serious guild looking for mature players comitted to progressing through hardmode content. With our nine hour a week raid schedule. We are currently 6/7 into normal modes, in the previous teir we got 6/13 on hardmodes on farm. Once we complete normal modes we will be looking to start up heroics within the coming weeks. We are looking to bulk up our ranks with dedicated and comitted members to help us progress through the coming heroic modes.
Some background on us:
<Benevolent> was first conceived in October 2005. The guild has been around for 4+ years, the type of experience we offer is nothing new. What this might mean to you is we are home to quality leadership and a strong player base. We are not a "flavor-of-the-month" or a "2.00001" brand of guild. We also have a long history of accomplishing more than most in substantially less: 10 hour raid week meets 11/12 progress and P3 Lich King Heroic. Players who are here and who have been here are proud. Furthermore, the guild is founded on a set of principles that you could say match the name. You won't see us spamming the cesspool of trade chat trying to recruit a gem in the rough. We have low tolerance for drama internally and externally. We have self-respect, are motivated by teamwork and general goodwill toward the community. We strive to be a respectable place that one might call "home". The players here are very active and social, you will find: humor, pvp activity of a wide variety, "alts", 10s, questing, etc. Most of us raid casual-serious by choice, we are here because the time requirement is reduced while providing results, and we all have other game interests or real world commitments to be involved in but hunger for the content.
We value our membership and to a further extent, value our reputation.
About you:
We want players who are personable, and also strive to develop their character and experience raiding content in an interactive environment. As a person you should be socially and ethically developed, and open to making new friends within. As a player, you should be specced, geared, gemmed, and enchanted appropriately for T10 PvE content. You should have a well developed understanding of your class, including its strengths and weaknesses and be able to perform your role in raid boss encounters. If you are the type of person that is solely concerned with loot, complains when asked to be a teamplayer, doesn't bother to read and discuss strategy openly, and doesn't come prepared; we are not interested. As a raiding guild, we do require that you are willing to spec to support guild progression, in real-time, as the game is continuously evolving. As the game changes, we evolve to match.
Interested? Here are the details:
- Raid times are:
5:30-8:00pm PST / 8:30-11:00pm EST Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday.
-Being a Casual-Serious guild we do expect as near 100% attendance as possible given our shortened raid week, but we do understand RL circumstances do arrise.
-We also have 10man alt runs on Friday and Saturday evenings and rated BGs on Tuesdays if PvP is your thing.
- We use a DKP system for managing loot, resetting per tier.
- Trial is two weeks long and we will come to a guild consensus on whether or not you "pass".
-
If you are under 18, sorry to be blunt but with all due respect save yourself some time and please do not bother applying.
CURRENT RECRUITMENT NEEDS:
- We are recruiting anyone who meets our standards, as mentioned above we are looking for players are comfortable with their class and are willing to make changes to help progress the guild through content.
- As always every application is welcome, outstanding applicants will never be turned away. That being said we are currently recruiting the following classes for core raid spots:
