Raid times: Weds, Thurs, Mon 8:30-11:30 Eastern time (7:30-10:30 server)

What we're looking for:
Veterans. We want players who have raided hardcore in earlier expansions but don't have as much time as they used to. If you would understand the description "This boss does Freya sunbeams and Blood Queen's Pact", that's good. If you have a love/hate relationship with Doomfire, that's perfect.

Pair/group applications. If your raid group is falling apart, but there are a couple people you really enjoy playing with - bring them with you! Everyone is happier when they get to play with their friends. RUM likes to run a slightly larger roster than most 25-man groups in order to give everyone the flexibility to miss a night from time to time.

Specific recruitment needs:
Caster DPS - all will be considered, but we’re especially seeking a warlock and an elemental shaman.
Resto druid
Resto shaman

We are not actively looking for melee DPS or tanks, though exceptional applicants will be considered.
We are currently overstaffed on healing priests and paladins; with our current roster we can’t really consider applicants in this role.

Why you should apply:
Attitude. Most of us have played in top 200 guilds and have chosen not to due to either scheduling conflicts or simply not wanting to invest that much time. The result is a raid group filled with people capable of getting bosses down, but content with doing so at a leisurely pace. We're competent but relaxed; standards are high but tempers are low.

Stability. This raid group has been running since the Burning Crusade. We have turnover, but we always keep going. If you're tired of guilds drama-bombing out from under you, we're the alternative.

EST-friendly schedule. If you’re a college student with morning classes and papers to write, or if you’re a parent with a demanding job and kids who wake you up early, you probably appreciate the difference between a raid night ending at 11:30 and one ending at 1 AM. We will never pull a boss after 11:30 PM Eastern, so you can be assured of being in bed by midnight if you so wish.

Alt raiding. Serious Casual is home to 4+ raid groups, with more in the larger guild community. If your alts need epics, you'll be able to find runs in-guild.
