Hero is currently recruiting a few exceptional players to help fill out some gaps in our roster as we get deeper into heroic Dragon Soul! We've cleared all the current content on normal mode and have killed heroic Morchok, Yor'sahj, Zon'ozz, Hagara, and Ultraxion. We're always looking for players that are interested in working hard at new content and conquering it with us now and in future tiers.

Hero is a 25 man raiding guild on Burning Blade (Horde). We currently raid 4 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, from 8pm to 12am. Loot is handled by an officer loot council based on attendance, performance, and overall benefit to the guild. We're a guild that aims to keep up with the cutting edge of content while maintaining a laid-back and friendly atmosphere. We don't want to be constantly stressed out over progression, but we fully intend to overcome all the bosses ahead of us. We play for the satisfaction of these successes, and we aim to duplicate the success we had in Wrath when we finally killed heroic Lich King. As we finish up this tier and move into the next, we aim to be even better than ever.

-High-quality apps of other classes/roles are always taken into consideration

What we're looking for in our apps:

-Obviously the basics. Apps should know their class and have experience playing it in a high-end raid environment. Good reaction times, decision making, staying out of fire.

-Quick learning ability and good communication skills. If you've researched a fight and want to clarify a couple details on how we do it, our officers will be more than happy to address your concerns. What we're not looking for is someone that's just going to ask to be hand-held through everything. If you show a little incentive and do the proper preparation, we'll be glad to help get you caught up to the rest of us.

-A mature attitude. We generally get along and have fun in our raids, but that can't happen if there's drama over loot or raid spots, and we really don't want to have to deal with that anymore. We may need to swap people around for loot distribution, or maybe we need a different raid composition, or possibly someone is just underperforming that day and needs to sit out and take a break. You should be able to handle all of these situations gracefully and understand we're trying to do what's best for everyone.
