Who We Are

Obsidian is a semi-hardcore 10 man Horde progression raiding guild that was established in 2010. We reside on Illidan, which has been consistently ranked the #1 US server for PVE progression. We raid 2 nights a week and have cleared all Cataclysm content. Currently we are looking for players with the drive and motivation to level up and get geared to start MOP raids as soon as possible and want to be apart of a team atmosphere.

• Friday - 8pm - 12am EST
• Saturday - 8pm - 12am EST

We are interested in any exceptional applicants regardless of class or spec. If you feel you are one of the best players in your current guild and you can meet all of the expectations below, contact myself or Noid (contact info further down).

What We Look For In An Applicant

• We are looking for raiders who learn quickly and are comfortable performing their designated role in a raiding environment.

• The ideal applicant must be mature and possess exceptional ability playing their class. We do not tolerate drama queens or infantile behavior and are not interested in any applicant who possesses either or both of these qualities, regardless of skill level. You must be able to mesh well with the rest of the raid group.

• You will be expected to review logs and research other material to improve your overall performance and show up to raids with a good understanding of boss mechanics. A player is never at the point where they cannot improve more.

• You will be required to hit level 90 and be raid ready by the 2nd week of MOP release.

Loot System

We use a loot council system that factors in a players' attendance, overall ability as well as raid awareness. Gear is but a tool that goes to those who can utilize it the best to further guild progression.
