[Alliance][Ner'zhul] <Outplayed> -Out of Business-
We are no longer recruiting, as the core has shifted to a new guild. Thank you for your interest!
About UsOutplayed is made up of several friends whom have been playing for over 2 years. Our paths have crossed many times, but we were not always in the same guild. Originally, during Vanilla WoW, we were a casual raiding guild on a low-pop server. With the release of TBC, we all decided we were interested in hardcore-progression raids, and decided to split into our own separate groups. However, with the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, we are once again united, and quickly making our way through content.
Our core members are all people with jobs, work, school, girlfriends, and other various responsibilities. That being said, we do balance these real lives with a solid raiding schedule, at least 4 times a week. Our current raid progression is as follows:
10 man - Fully cleared up to and including 3 drake Sartharion.
Our 10 man progression group is solid, but we're always looking for good members. All we need is 5 minute Malygos, and we're cleared.
25 man - Fully cleared, including 3 drake Sartharion.
We are nearing capacity on 25 man raids, but we need ranged DPS.
PvP - With several members experienced in the 2200 bracket of arena, we're always looking for good arena players. While PvP isn't exactly a guild activity, we're all friends and many people are on teams together going for titles and the like. Ner'zhul has a strong PvP community, with many Gladiators, and we are located in the Bloodlust bracket.
To be honest, there's only so much you can say about a guild like ours in type. Let me know if you want to know more.
What we're looking forClasses
We are now looking for Ranged DPS. Please be one of the below classes, but feel free to talk if you're not.
If you're not one of the above, please feel free to apply - we're always looking for exceptional members.
Gear
Gear is a factor, but not the deciding factor. Guild members are an investment, and as such, we're ultimately looking for commitment, maturity, and skill. If you have these, but may not yet have full epics or best in slot, so be it. However, what we do expect, is that you've made a clear concious effort to get the best gear you can. That being said, with the ease of current raiding, there really is no reason for an active player not to have at least full raiding gear. Bottom line: we're looking for the player, not the character, but show you've done your part.
Expectations
We expect members to bring a positive attitude, a desire to have fun, and a desire to progress. Consider these three things a trinity: with one missing, the other fall. While obviously our Naxx10 nights aren't going to be filled with progress, your desire to be there to help gear a newer character or help someone with badges is a part of it. We can almost guarantee you will have fun every night, and a positive attitude is a must. The DetailsRaid Schedule
Generally, we stick to weekdays for raiding. However, on occasion, we will run a weekend raid. We are willing to be flexible for our 10 man raids, but our 25 mans are hard-set. The days you must sign on are:
- Tuesday: 7pm - 11pm (PST)
- Wednesday: 7pm - 11pm (PST)
- Thursday: 7pm - 11pm (PST)
For those of you who have been paying attention, you will notice that this is only 3 days. We do generally raid 4 days a week, but with very little progression content left in the game until 3.1, our raiding schedule is a little looser. While we stress people being on time, if you have an obligation that causes you to be 15 minutes late, but can be on every night, that's more than okay. But, once you're in our raid, we expect your undivided attention. We will take breaks, and things will come up, but an ounce of prevention goes a long way. Go AFK only at appropriate times, repair before the raid, and don't have an obligation that will interfere. If you need day or some time off, you can be accommodated. A guild is a two-way street, if you give us respect and attention, we will provide the same in return.
Friends and Family Policy
We're okay with friends and family joining along side you. While we can't guarantee a spot in our raids, they are more than welcome to fill an empty spot for farm runs. We aren't elitist, and will welcome them with open arms. While they may not be core members, however, we do expect them to follow our rules of having fun with a positive attitude. If they're douchebags, they will reflect on you.
Server Performance
Unfortunately, server performance has become an increasing concern for players looking to transfer. Luckily, Ner'zhul has been blessed with excellent stability. We have yet to experience a crash mid-raid since the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, and we suffer no performance issues. Additionally, we have not experienced a queue since the release of Wrath. Wintergrasp can still get laggy sometimes as we are a high-population server, but this has not affected raid performance at all.
Ner'zhul is ranked 4th in the US in progression. (wowprogress.com)
