About us

We are an achievement progression focused raiding guild. Achievements are here to stay - do not apply if you are not interested in pushing for them because in Ulduar they will be the focus of our raiding. At the present we have all content on farm, every raid achievement (10/25) finished, placing Top 125 World on Heroic Glory of the Raider.

Unlike most top guilds out there, who thrive on competition, we are a guild that uses competition to cultivate an atmosphere that works with you - the raider - not against you. What most trials find surprising about us is the fact that we do not nerd rage, we do not push raiders by yelling at them or instilling fear through threats, nor do we use loot or raid spots as a way of punishing underachieving raiders. On the contrary, we are a reward driven guild that plays to personal tastes and motivations of its raid. We make examples of good raiders, not bad ones. In other words, we are a hardcore guild that treats people.. like people.

We do not believe that you can yell someone into being good at this game. We recognize peoples' faults, work with them and their potential as much as they desire, and in the end produce much greater results with less than others do with more.

Lastly, we are one of the last remaining top guilds out there that strives to be a guild. If you did 10k dps at your last guild - that is very impressive - but we, as a guild, do more. It takes more than a single amazing healer to make a raid, and it takes much more than one amazing raid to make an amazing guild. We expect players to understand the logic behind the fact that the individual player's success relies directly on the success of the guild - and that every decision made for the good of the guild will only benefit the player that much more in the long run even if the effects are not immediate.

In <Biased>, the guild does not come before any given player, nor the player before the guild. The player is the guild.

About you

You must love and enjoy this game.

Our current focus is on finding players who do not simply top meters but do it with creativity and style. We are interested in people who create their own spreadsheets, theorycraft original talents and gear choices, make their own (smart) clutch calls during boss fights without having us babysit you, are vocal and display leadership attributes, etc.. We are NOT looking for someone to only do X amount of damage/healing on a Y boss and log off. We need players who stand out.

We have very high expectations of every single applicant and exponentially higher expectations of higher ranked members. We abide by the philosophy that everyone can and must do better today than yesterday, and that giving 99% effort instead of 100% is never enough. If I give 100% during a 5 minute encounter, I expect you and the other 23 raiders to do the same. At the same time, being human, I expect you (and myself) to make at least one mistake (or miss one opportunity to do something amazing) every raid - and I expect you to learn what you did wrong or where you could have done better - and improve next time.

If you can appreciate this outlook - if you are someone who constantly pushes yourself both in this game and in life in general - you will enjoy our guild; if this sounds foreign to you, you will probably become very frustrated with yourself (and with us).

Though we do push content as if we are pushing for top world kills, we rarely lose touch with reality and treat this game for more than what it is - a game. We are looking for well-rounded individuals who have lives external to WoW and juggle it with work/school/other games - this prevents burn out and useless nerd raging while maximizing efficiency during raids - nobody would waste their valuable time on careless mistakes during encounters and we need more raiders with this mentality.

8 - 12 EST Sunday-Thursday

Saturdays will be optional, no raids on Fridays

Priest: 1 (both specs)
Lock: 1
Shaman: 2 (all 3 specs)
Druid: 1 (resto/boomkin)
Hunter: 1
Paladin: 1 (all 3 specs, holy primary)

For the most part, you should ignore the above. Unlike other top guilds that claim to recruit every class - we actually do not recruit classes - we recruit players.

For this reason - we will give a trial to anyone (with potential) who wants a shot, we will take you to a raid and give you a chance - what you do with this chance will be completely up to you. If you contribute more to our raid than another member - you will be rewarded with their spot for it.
