As Ulduar approaches, we are looking to fill four spots in our roster:

1. Holy Paladin
2. Restoration Druid
3. Mage
4. Warlock

ABOUT US

Midnight Eclipse formed in March of 2006, on the Horde-side of the US-Draenor server, under the pretense of being an Australian/Late-Night US player raiding guild, raiding at 2AM server-time. We have since evolved and are not ENTIRELY a late-night based guild anymore. While we still have a lot of Aussies and late-night players, we no longer raid at 2AM. With such a wide variety of players from all over the world, we really are a 24-hour guild; we almost always have players online playing.

With our split background, we currently run 25-man raids twice a week on Friday & Saturday at 6:30pm PST for around 4 to 5 hours a night. We chose these days so we can best suit both our American players and our Australian players.

There are no other guilds on our server that can show such progress for such a short raiding schedule. We cleared Naxx on our first weekend raiding, Malygos the next weekend, and Sarth 3D 2 weeks later. We typically clear encounters in 1 or 2 nights of working on them, and emphasize "quality of raiding" over "quantity of raiding". We do not feel that you need to spend your entire week raiding to make progress, and we are proof of that concept.

We distribute loot by using a /random system and encouraging people not to be loot @!*#!s. Since most of our team is on a first name basis with each other and a good number have met IRL via get togethers, this is typically not an issue. Everyone in the guild knows that loot is a means to an end and is always willing to pass on an item if someone else can use it more.

ABOUT YOU

I am looking for players who enjoy the feeling of having a "small team" to fit into. We have historically only carried a raiding roster of around 30-32 people at any given time. Most of our success comes from the fact that we have very little turnover within our raiding ranks and everyone puts the team before themselves.

You should be comfortable with only raiding 25-man raids two days a week and should come to every raid ready to impress. We value competition amongst our ranks and offer gold-based incentives be the best without impacting the overall success of the team (i.e. pulling aggro, dying to void zones, etc.).

We appreciate players who PVP a lot, and have had both High Warlords and Gladiator teams within our ranks, but your first priority should be PVE.

Your equipment should reflect your experience. While we are not necessarily looking for applicants who are kitted out "best in slot"; we are looking for applicants who have put the effort into their gear to get Heroic & 10-man raiding equipment. Remember, more than what gear you have, your gems and enchants show us how good of a player you can be. If you are poorly itemizing gems and enchants, than you show that any gear that you may receive is essentially being wasted.

Ideally, you will have an understanding of the 25-man content already and be ready to step into our team immediately.
