About Us:

Silly Hats Only is a unique guild. While we all have the dedication and skill to play in the top guilds, our members simply have too many real-world commitments to be locked in a 4-5 night per week, early evening, raiding schedule. Still, we believe that there is nothing so difficult about this game that would prevent us from seeing all of the content and progressing quickly in 2 nights per week. With everyone sharing the same goals and bringing the skill and experience to the table, we are confident that we can progress quickly through 25 man raiding in Ulduar and beyond.

Overall, our players have vast amounts of experience raiding both in TBC and in classic WoW. We're friendly and social, but serious when it comes to raiding. We have all come together from different guilds in the effort to make a unique concept work: fast, no BS progression through a schedule that lets people with jobs, school and lives play.

Schedule:
We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30PM to 2AM PST.

Criteria:
We're looking for extremely competent, dedicated players who will give their all. Please, if you have any doubt that you might suck at this game even a little, don't apply. We're looking for the following qualities:

- You've read strategies, obtained consumables, and are ready to go every night for raids. Be able to communicate with the other raid members to coordinate fight specific strategies.

-You must be able to take constructive criticism so that you can improve your play. We want people who are good, but who are always striving to be better.

- You're here pretty much every night. If you have some weird life circumstances that may be interrupting your play time or will in the future then we really aren't looking for you. We need people who can keep high attendance. This is especially true with a 3 night per week schedule.

-You need to be able to think for yourself so that you can do your assigned job as well as help others. Fast reaction times are needed for you to do the job that will be required of you.

-We're looking for people who've been there for the wipes and learned the boss fights. We give more weight to applicants who have been raiding for 2+ years although we will consider those with less. We have some great players who skipped out on TBC raiding, for example. We are looking for people who have LEARNED boss fights with their guilds and not been carried through on farm status.

-We're going to be spending a lot of time with each other. Most of us are in our 20's, all of us over 18. We're generally reasonably mature people with jobs and school. We'd like that you fit in with us personality-wise.
