About us:

No Bads Allowed is a group of like-minded raiders who are dedicated to being the best. Our focus is tackling hardcore 25-man raid content while maintaining a small guild atmosphere. We are currently looking for a few more talented individuals to round out our roster in preparation for the impending release of content patch 3.1.

We are not a large guild and we never will be. Our idea of fun is bringing the same group of people each night as opposed to leaving 15 people to wait outside the instance portal. All of our members see a significant amount of raid time and are an integral part of the team.

We are looking for members who are interested in becoming a part of a team, not just a part of a raid, and who are interested in participating in activities outside of raids. We enjoy leisure time with our guildmates as well, and often organize impromptu heroic groups, alt raids, and PvP excursions.

Raid Times:

Monday-Thursday
6-10pm PST (7-11pm MST, 8pm-12am CST, 9pm-1am EST)

Recruitment:

Currently our needs are very limited as we do have enough for 25 man raids. As I mentioned earlier, we like to keep the guild small and will be very picky on who we select in order to maintain the atmosphere we have built. You only get one chance to make a first impression so keep that in mind on your application.

The classes we are currently interested in are listed below. If your class is not listed but you are an exceptional player with gear and experience to match, please drop us an app. We can always find a spot for outstanding players.

We are also looking for ONE exceptional Ranged DPS caster of any class. You must be of comparable skill, gear and experience level to us.

Progression:

We have completed all 10 and 25 man instances, as well as all 10 and 25 man achievements.

Who we are looking for:

Pre-WotLK raiding experience is not a requirement, but we prefer applicants with hard-core raiding experience through BT and Sunwell (pre-nerf.) WOTLK experience at a minimum should include kills on every 25 man boss with 3 Drake experience preferred. Gear is much less of an issue, but we are planning to transfer to the PTR as soon as it is available, so the time to gear up grows shorter every week.

Much more important than gear and slightly more important than experience is dedication. Our guild formed in late BC from members who were sick and tired of the "status-quo" attitudes of our parent guilds. Within one month of forming, we downed Illidan with previously limited experience in BT/MH. We are not looking for members who are merely content to complete content at a leisurely pace and farm gear until the next release. We are looking for members who share our passion for being the best.

A good raid attitude is also a must. We do not tolerate drama in any form, and any disagreements will be taken to private channels immediately. If, while raiding, you make a mistake you will be expected to immediately explain both what you did wrong, and why you will not make the mistake again. Repeating mistakes is unacceptable raid practice, and not advisable during your trial period.

In order to keep our guild roster trim, and our players in top form, we have the expectation that our raiders will have the competence, gear, and willingness to fulfill multiple roles as necessary and at any given time. With the advent of dual specs available in Ulduar, this will be a tremendous resource, allowing the raid to react fluidly to learning encounters. Specifically, we expect all raiders to be comfortable and willing to play at least two of the three trees available to their class.

We require 90% raid attendance. If you have real life obligations that prohibit you from maintaining a 90% raid attendance, please do not apply. Obviously, emergencies can and will happen.

We also require two non-gathering professions on your main character. We consider non-gathering professions to be Jewelcrafting, Alchemy, Enchanting, Tailoring, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Inscription. This is non-negotiable.

Lastly, we have no formal rule against people under the age of 18, but you must conform to the same attitude and responsibility standards as every other member. No lenience will be given for your age.

Loot Distribution:

During scheduled raids, loot will be determined by loot council. Consideration will be given based on: raid performance, raid attitude, raid attendance and gear upgrade, in that order. We do not play favorites and all decisions will be made based on the benefit to the guild, not to the individual player. That being said, loot comes fast and often in WotLK.

Hardware Requirements:

Our only requirement is the ability to run Ventrilo with a working microphone. If your computer runs slowly and has poor frame rates, or you have a poor internet connection, such that it impacts your ability to play, know that we will not accept this as an excuse.

Server Information:

Kilrogg is a PVE server located in the Pacific Time Zone. We are a high population server, but there are never queues and latency is rarely a problem. The Horde to Alliance ratio is 0.62 to 1. Four other horde guilds have completed Sartharion with three drakes, and many others have completed every raid instance. We were the first of two horde guilds with the "Heroic: Glory of the Raider" achievement. Please take that into consideration for server transfers. There are other guilds on the server in case we do not work out.
