About us:
Royal Militia is the top PVE guild on Bleeding Hollow, an EST PVP server and one of the original release servers. As a guild, Royal Militia has existed since day 1 of retail release and has been raiding since before BWL was opened and MC was a Big Deal. We have always strived to stay competitive and on top of server progression, and have a long history of server firsts from AQ to Sunwell and into Wrath of the Lich King. Royal Militia is an active, stable guild with a strong core and leadership. We have persevered through challenges that have broken apart guilds, survived M’uru and witnessed the closing of the Sunwell.
We are a team of focused progression-minded players, averaging in age near our mid 20’s. We raid 4 nights a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 8pm to midnight EST. The current content allows us to be finished in about 4 hours a week broken up over 2 nights but we expect to be back to a full 4 day week with the release of Ulduar on the PTR and then on Live. We have several members who have completed their Glory of the Raider, and hope to be seeing an Immortal completed soon.
We use a DKP system with a 90 day decay for loot distribution. You earn points for attending raids which can be spent on item drops. Attendance is an important part of our system. The 90 decay cap allows for newer members to compete with veterans for hot-ticket items if you are consistent.
Wrath Progression: OS25-3D, OS10-3D, Maly25 and Naxx25 all on farm

Royal Militia is looking for players who are:
Skilled: Individuals with a desire to progress and give 100% of their focus are encouraged to apply. Attitude, awareness, skill and a drive to accomplish are valued over your purple pixels. However, with Ulduar around the corner we have precious little time to gear someone from the ground up. As such, we expect applicants to be competitively geared in order to transition well into new content.
Geared: Know your current gear and why you have chosen it. Know what your current gems and enchants are and why they are the best for your gear. You should be prepared to spend time outside of our scheduled raids to obtain the best gear available to you if it will make your character perform better. Knowing why you chose which pieces and how they benefit your goals and support your current build will definitely increase your chances in joining RM.
Attitude: We are looking for team players with positive attitudes. There will be nights where we will attempt one encounter for the vast majority of our raid night. If this sounds like something you are not interested in doing because you only want epic loot, please do not apply. Your attitude reflects in your performance. We want dedicated, focused raiders willing to do what they must to get the job done. Focusing on your job and performing to the best of your ability lets everyone else focus on their own jobs for clean effective raiding. The less time we have to spend slapping hands the happier everyone will be.
Consistent: We raid 8pm-12am Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will occasionally stay longer than midnight on progression nights to conquer new content. We will expect you to be on every raid night, if you can't make more than 90% of the raids do not waste our time with your application.
