[Horde][Kilrogg] <Temporary Insanity> LF Warlocks/Boomkin/Other DPS
Recruitment needs:
We're currently recruiting 1-2 Warlocks, 1 Balance Druid, and possibly a few other spots for exceptional ranged/melee dps.
About us:
Temporary Insanity is a a guild that has existed since the alpha versions of the game. Our raiding started in Molten Core and several of those original members still play today. We play on a server that has many competitive raiding guilds, both Horde and Alliance side. Since we've started raiding we've maintained our status as the top Horde guild on the server. We have a history of defeating bosses before they're "nerfed", including but not limited to Kil'jaeden before 3.0 was released.
Outside raid times we have a stimulating guild chat that attracts all types of interesting and fun conversations, but when it's time to raid we focus on doing what we're supposed to do: Kick ass!
Achievement progress:
On Feb 9th we completed Glory of the Raider, and on Feb 17th we completed Heroic Glory of the Raider. We Killed Yogg April 27th, and are currently working on hard mode achievements. In general you will find that we do place a lot of importance on raiding achievements. We are not one of those guilds who will farm bosses on "easy mode" for weeks on end before attempting their "hard mode" version. When we strive to be the best, we do it in every aspect of raiding.
Our purpose:
We are here to bring together top quality players to aggressively push content. We enjoy like minded people who are not only talented but in it for the benefit of their teammates to obtain the highest level of gear and have fun while doing it. We do not tolerate poor play or the inability to take suggestions to improve your play and will sometimes trim the players that do not fit that mold from our roster.
Our loot system:
We use a dkp system first and a loot council second. With dkp you earn points for every boss killed and may spend a set amount of points on items. If you have negative points you are not allowed to bid points on an item. If everyone passes on the item, then the item costs 0 points and anyone wanting it speaks up and the winner is decided through loot council. Good items never rot under this system, and it is possible to gear up a 2nd or in some cases 3rd set of gear.
Our raid times:
We raid Monday through Thursday 7-11pst(pacific standard time) and Sunday 6-11pst. If all of our raiding is done before that point we have days off, but on progression weeks you should expect to be there each of those nights. We expect 90-100% attendance from our raiders.
What gear do I need?
Gear, while easily obtainable, is dependent on where you are. If you are a cross server applicant you should have at least a full set of Naxx gear. WWS reports give us an indication as to wether or not you will be compatible as well as a chat with an officer. If you do not have a WWS report 9/10 times we will tell you not to transfer because it would not be good for you to transfer, suck, and then be kicked.
If you are a Kilrogg applicant then gear is less of an issue, but you should show that you have done as much as possible with the raiding that is available to you. Also you should have the endorsement of a couple raiding members of the guild as an exceptional player.
Who do I talk to?
You'll primarily want to talk to Gilora, Kainteeka, Might, Chowbox, Taurenzilla, or Mothuzadan. Any class officer directed from a guildmate can also easily assist you. You can also contact these people on our forums about the progress of your application at any time.
Ok how do I apply?
First you need to create a forum account at tiguild.com and activate it if necessary. Next you need to log in to that forum account and read the directions on the post below.
Any special notes on applying?
We are looking for experienced players with exceptional awareness that can help us progress through Ulduar (hard modes), we are not interested in any projects or players that we have to worry about their playing ability. If you're not confident in your playing ability/raiding experience then don't bother applying. Additionally, not having either a WWS or WoW Meter Online report will greatly decrease your chances of getting an interview with our recruitment team. If you can't provide one when you submit your app but you plan on having access to it in the near future, please be sure to specify that on the app.
