Disclaimer: This is 100% serious. Yes, we understand we're posting this on EJ which is home to the most hardcore of players around, but its still the caliber of player we're looking for.
About the Wolves
The Wolves of War is a Alliance World of Warcraft Guild based out of Anvilmar that is meant for casual competative raiding. Casual in that we only plan on raiding a few nights a week, Wednesday & Thursday nights from 6:30-10pm. Competitive in that while we do raid casually, we do still put for the best effort capable by our players. This includes each player being responsible for his or her gear choices, spec, and skill. If you cannot pull your weight in the pack, the wolves will drive away scavengers. Raiding, taking on the end game content in order to challenge ourselves in a way that we feel rewarded and collect our gear quickly.
We were born of the desire for a guild where there is no need for leads beyond a raid lead to make assignments and a guild leader to maintain a guild bank which everyone will contribute to and can use for raiding purposes. The Guild bank is meant as a repository for items relevant to raiding that can be accessed by those in need.
With roots from old guilds that became bogged down by system and lack of backbone, the Wolves will strive to always stick to the values we put forth. If you don't like it, then you won't run with the pack.
What we need
We're in the market for everything. We're a new guild, and we'd rather find the right people across all realms, then settle for average players on our realm. If there's a type of player we're looking for, its the kind that reads Elitist Jerks. The kind of individual who enjoys playing his best, knowing everything there is to know, theorycrafting, constantly improving, and always coming prepared with not only the basics of his class needs, but also the knowledge of new encounters.
To summarize, we need hardcore raiders that may not be able to raid "hardcore" any longer. Life has prevented them from raiding 12+ hours a week, and so, they are willing to take a step back in loot, and instead focus on maxing out what 10 mans have to offer.
Family & Friends
Wolves are welcome to bring their pack with them. We can't guarantee them raiding spots. We're also not looking to become a huge guild. But, if you're a pack of 2-4 and only one in your family wants to raid, you're welcome to bring them in to the den.
