About Us
We are a guild of dedicated raiders looking for equally dedicated and reliable people to round out our numbers to keep progression steady.

Unorthodox was founded in January 2007 by a group of end-game raiders. Of the four officers, two are founding members of the guild and all four have progression raid experience going back to vanilla WoW. The current roster has an average tenure of over 1 year with Unorthodox. We have a mix of male and females (yes girls play WoW). We maintain a low-drama, high-energy vibe throughout our forums, vent, and /g conversations.

Sarth3D fell to our blades on 2/9 and since then we've been focused on farming content for BiS items and achievements. Our plans are to focus intently on Ulduar and keep our progression steady until we've mastered the instance, the hard-modes, and the achievements.

We classify ourselves as "dedicated" instead of "hardcore" deliberately. We do not run 5 hour raids, or sacrifice personal lives for the sake of firsts. However, we all share a commitment to play hard, move outta the void zones, min/max our toons to be the best of our classes, and down bosses with skill. We are dedicated to one another and to being the best at what we do.

We raid Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu from 7p to 10p CST. Invites go out at 6:30pm CST and we will start clearing trash early if we have enough in raid. We run a modified zero-sum DKP system.


About You
Must have prior raid experience and a good attitude.
Must enjoy long walks on the Zoram Strand and candlelit Fish Feasts.
Must be able to attend 3 of 4 raids per week from start to finish.

You're here on EJ so I don't need to say that you must know your class and show up properly geared, gemmed, enchanted, glyphed, and spec'd with consumables in hand--because that is also required.

Guild Hoppers, Loot Whores, Drama Queens need not apply. Though long-haired hippy people are welcome.

No one under the age of 18 please.
