Who

LoE is a home for working professionals who are serious about raiding, but who do not have the time to raid on heavy schedules common to most progression guilds. We raid 25-player content only 3 nights a week, for 9 hours total. Nonetheless, we do not raid lightly. Our raids are highly focused, efficient, and successful.

Our goal is to complete the hard mode encounters in WotLK, along with the corresponding meta-achievements for each tier of raiding. To date we have defeated Algalon; did Insanity in ToGC25; completed the metas for T7, T8, and T9 content; and are working on completing the meta for ICC. When

We raid 3 nights a week (9 hours total), even when new content is available:

- Mon 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. CST,
- Wed 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. CST,
- Thurs 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. CST

(Please note that 8:00 CST is equal to 9:00 EST, 6:00 PST, and 7:00 MST.) On off-nights we do heroics, 10-person raids, alt runs, ninja ore nodes, and PvP--all in a relatively loose fashion.

Classes/Roles we're filling

As a general rule, we will seriously consider any applicants who seem like they would be a great fit for our team in terms of attitude, goals, and experience. At this moment, however, we are particularly interested in the following:

- Ranged DPS, preferably a hybrid with a healing offspec
- Holy Pally, preferably one with a secondary DPS spec and some gear/experience to support it

Our preference is for people who love to think about the game and who are not on the cusp of burnout or exhaustion. An ideal applicant is someone who, perhaps for RL reasons, cannot participate in a 4- to 5- night progression guild, but is serious nonetheless about progression and who is used to pushing the limits of his or her abilities. Above all else, we're looking for players with a 'team first' mentality.
