About Assent
Assent was originally formed in Everquest on the Maelin server back in 2003, where it was one of the top guilds in the world. When TBC came out, many of the Assent-EQ players rerolled in WoW. Assent has been the top guild on Dunemaul (PvP) since High King Maulgar and continues earning server firsts. We've dipped in and out of top U.S. fifty since BT days, depending on how our attendance is holding up. The majority of our guild has been together for the past few years, and we generally enjoy a very low turnover. With the release of Wrath and the joke content we lost a few members to boredom, so we have opened up recruitment.

Assent uses a zero sum dkp system, off spec and tier pieces cost no dkp and are decided by loot council.

What we look for in applicants

Dedication: Many of our raiders have been playing this game since the days of Onyxia and Molten Core, and we expect to continue doing so, not only for this expansion but for upcoming expansions as well. If you are getting sick of this game and thinking of quitting, we're probably not the guild you're looking for.

Desire: We aren't looking for raiders who will log on 30 seconds before raid invites and log off immediately afterwards. We are looking for applicants who actually enjoy playing the game. We're looking for applicants who are willing to keep up to date with the latest rotation, the latest BiS gear, or the latest min/max.

Personality: Assent is pretty much a zero drama guild, and we like keeping it that way. If you're a drama queen, a primadona, or anything of the sort you won't last long. On the other hand, if you're friendly, helpful, and can take a good joke you'll fit right in.

Gear: Ideally, every app would be BiS, but since we aren't Premonition or Exodus that is probably asking a bit much. What we do look at is making sure you have the best enchants, gems, etc. possible, and that you min/max your gear properly. We aren't a train ride to free epics, you need to show you've put some effort into your characters.

Raid Schedule

Although Assent is on a west-coast server, the majority of us are east coast players. As such, we raid east coast times (7-12) Sunday through Thursday, and sometimes on Friday or Saturday depending on how we feel.

We also run 10 mans two hours or so before our raids, and on weekends later at night.

We've currently got spots open for the following classes. Keep in mind our roster is small, and you'll be asked to raid almost immediately.

Applications for classes that are closed that "wow" us will always be considered
